The guesthouse is very well maintained and ideal for a family retreat or vacation in Iceland.

Nothing so far. Everything was perfect.

Sehr schöne Lage mit einer Terrasse. Blick über ein Lavafeld und Wiese. Pferde ganz in der Nähe. Im nahen Ort kann man ein bisschen einkaufen, tanken und es hat ein sehr schönes Infozentrum. Nahe bei vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Schönes Badezimmer, gemütliches Wohnzimmer.

Mobiliar auf der Terrasse ist in die Jahre gekommen.

Family owned business with super cool horse riding. Unfortunately we had not enough time to check out the other adventures offered.

It was cool clean and adequate, some furniture could use some love. But given the remote location it is in good shape. Also nothing was missing to the guest -just cosmetics.

Overall our stay was good and the host was helpful, however, there was an issue with check in. More to follow on the next section.

We have a family of 8, with an infant and toddler, on this trip. As we got to the home very late in the evening, we had hope to check in quickly and settled in. That failed, as we discovered there were already people in our booked home. Suffice to say a bit of panic came over us as we clearly had the home booked. Turns out the home was entered by another group who were booked at a nearby home. Both homes were managed by the same host and used the same entry codes, so this other group was able to access our booked home. Fortunately, the host lived nearby and we were able to (a little reluctantly) switch homes. As our booked home was supposed to have a washing machine and dryer and the switched home did not, the host offered us their to wash our clothes. While that did worked out, it was a bothersome situation as we had to drive back and forth to do our laundry.
