The breakfast was great. The owner is a a great person and really nice to talk with. The rooms were clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The building was built in the late 19th Century and has is a lot of history as it dates back to the gold rush in Queenstown.
The bed was a bit lopsided, as if it had not been turned over. There is no hand held shower head to wash the nether regions. The weather is Queenstown was bitter cold in late October. I'm told that this is normal. We were there on a Tuesday and apparently most of the shops are closed on a Tuesday.

Great place to stay, the inside has been very well restored you’ll love it. The heritage feature and period fixtures were fantastic.

We liked the historic feel to the building. We also really enjoyed chatting to Ralph the proprietor. He had all sorts of interesting things to share with us. He was also very helpful accommodating our bikes and other odd needs. The breakfast was very good too.
