We had an absolutely incredible stay at Wild Oryx Camp and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Even before we arrived in Jordan, Eid was incredibly helpful over WhatsApp, helping us plan our visit, explaining the different Wadi Rum tour options and even recommending a driver who turned out to be fantastic. From the very beginning, it was clear that he genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible experience.
When we arrived at the camp, Eid was incredibly warm, personable and kind. He could not have done more for us during our stay, helping us arrange a hot air balloon experience and a camel ride, and always making sure everything was taken care of. He even went the extra mile and arranged a surprise birthday cake for my mum, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made her birthday really special.
The camp itself is fantastic. The location is absolutely stunning and, being away from the other camps in Wadi Rum, it is wonderfully peaceful and quiet. It was the perfect place to relax, take in the incredible scenery and spend the evenings stargazing. The rooms were comfortable and well kept, and the food was excellent too.
What really made our stay special, though, was the hospitality. Eid made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after throughout our visit, and his kindness and attention to detail made the whole experience even more memorable.

Eid and his team were fantastic! The hospitality was simply unmatched. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt welcomed. Highly recommend this camp over the large ones. The others have much more light pollution and noise. This camp has only 5 bubbles and is located in a great spot far away from any road or artificial lights. The food was great, the activities were fun as well. We did the jeep tour and camel ride the following morning. No regrets and would book again in a heartbeat!
