I am so glad to have found an amazing home (retreat) in Tehri, as good options are very limited. Everything from the food to the service to the view (himalyan peaks) was very special!
The owner Mr Mahesh and his family have made this property with a lot of love and effort. Their vision is to create an oasis of calm where people could meditate and do yoga. It was a pleasure to interact and spend time with the whole family.
Special thanks to Raju (the manager) who went the extra mile to take care of all our needs!
Cant wait to bring my family to this beautiful abode :)

The access to the property is a bit tricky, and my suggestion would be to install some kind of sensor lights along the way for guiding guests. We were helped by the staff each time we needed to come back to the hotel in the dark.

Review for Hotel ‘The Rudraksh’
I had a wonderful stay at The Rudraksh, a serene retreat that exceeded all my expectations. The property is new, with beautifully designed cottages that feel both luxurious and cozy. The rooms are well-heated, ensuring maximum comfort even during cold weather.
One of the standout features is the stunning view from the room gallery. Waking up to such scenic beauty was an absolute treat. The peaceful surroundings make it an ideal destination for anyone looking to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The staff at The Rudraksh truly make the experience special. They are incredibly warm and hospitable, going out of their way to make guests feel at home. The host’s personal attention to detail and genuine care for guests were evident throughout my stay.
The food was another highlight. The all-vegetarian menu is thoughtfully curated, with every dish tasting fresh and delicious. It’s perfect for those who appreciate simple, wholesome meals.
Overall, The Rudraksh is a beautiful and tranquil place that I highly recommend to anyone seeking relaxation, great hospitality, and a cozy, home-like stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
A TV in the room would be admirable. And Tandoori items in food menu would be much appreciated.
