Our stay at Casa Preguiça in Trancoso was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations—the property itself is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, offering the perfect balance of comfort and charm.
What truly made this experience unforgettable, though, was our host, Marcus. I can confidently say I have never encountered a host so dedicated, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. Marcus went far above and beyond in every possible way, ensuring our stay was seamless and special. But what really sets him apart is what he did after our stay.
When I realized I had lost my iPhone, Marcus didn’t just offer a quick check and move on—he spent three full months tirelessly helping me track it down and ultimately retrieve it. His persistence, communication, and willingness to help long after we had checked out speaks volumes about his character. That level of care is incredibly rare.
Casa Preguiça is already a magical place, but Marcus is the reason we will never forget our time there. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you’ll not only enjoy a beautiful home in paradise, but you’ll also experience hospitality at its absolute best.
Thank you, Marcus, for everything. We will be back without a doubt.
