Das Ferienhaus hat alles, was man sich an Ausstattung wünscht und darüber hinaus. Auch die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet. Beim gemeinsamen Kochen und Schnippeln fehlt es an nichts. Anschließende Mahlzeiten mit überdachter Terrasse inklusive Blick auf den See – was will man mehr! Die Gegend eignet sich hervorragend zum wandern, paddeln und Radfahren. Sie hat landschaftlich wie geschichtlich einiges zu bieten und lädt zu Ausflügen und Erkundungstouren ein.
Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Das Baden im See direkt vor der Haustür ist verboten, ebenso wie das Standup Paddeln. Hierfür muss man an den Rursee fahren, für Letzteres an den wenigen Ausgabestellen eine Plakette kaufen. Eine solche Ausgabestelle zu finden, stellte sich als ein wenig mühselig heraus. Ein Erwerb Online würde die Sache erheblich vereinfachen. Dies liegt jedoch nicht in der Verantwortung des Vermieters.

De locatie is schitterend en de ligging van het huis perfect. De omgeving is erg mooi. Het huis zelf is geweldig, brandschoon, goed geoutilleerd, de bedden liggen goed, de badkamers zijn fijn en schoon en het uitzicht van de ruime sauna is geweldig. Het contact met de eigenaar verliep erg prettig en snel. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf.

Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden und habe einen gründliche Einweisung bekommen. Das Haus ist wirklich in einem Top Zustand. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist toll. Den Ort erreicht man zu Fuß in ca. 15 min.
Im Ort ist leider nicht mehr viel los. Leider war auch der Aufzug zur Burg außer Betrieb, sodaß wir diese nicht besuchen konnten.

We had a great time in this house. One thing we used a lot was the sauna with the view. Overall everything is on point and clean. Good internet, nice porch/veranda were you can chill or relax. Good furniture and enough lighting in the house/rooms. Also two toilets and two seperate bathrooms.
It's also easy to walk to the city center (approx 15 min). There is a playground for kids as there as well. If you like running you can run around the lake as well, good trails. We used this location for sightseeing the region to monschau, bad munstereiffel and aachen. In Heimbach center you find most of your needs (restaurants, supermarkets etc). Hosts are really friendly and easy to reach. I can highly recommend this location.
I really don't have any complaints, it's been superb.
