Located in Hatteras | 5 Bedrooms | 5 Bathrooms | 1 Half Bathroom Take Me A Wave is an oceanside family favorite with soothing ocean and sound views. Take Me A Wave is conveniently located in Hatteras Village and only 100 yards from the community beach access with a well-maintained wooden walkway over the dunes. Enjoy a large private pool area, an 8-person hot tub, and a game room, or unwind on the sundecks to watch the ocean waves or sunset over the Pamlico Sound. Don't forget your four-legged friend... Take Me A Wave is dog-friendly! Ground Level: Ground-level amenities include a private pool deck with lounge furniture, gas grills, and a picnic table. After an adventurous day of exploring, guests can take a refreshing outside shower, or simply relax on the screened-in porch with comfortable sectional seating. A picnic table, a covered deck with a new hot tub, and a tiki bar overlooking the private pool round out this "hot spot" where every day feels like a holiday. Another bonus is a carport and driveway that accommodates up to 6 vehicles for easy access to the house. As you enter the home from the carport entry you will find a full bathroom, a spacious game room with a foosball table, a full-size refrigerator, a large Roku TV, a stereo system, and plenty of seating. A laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer is nestled on this level. Access to the pool area, covered deck, hot tub, screen room, and outside shower are directly off this level. Mid Level: This level offers 4 roomy bedrooms equipped with Roku TVs and direct covered deck access. Bedroom #1 is a Large King bedroom with an en suite full bathroom and a private covered deck. Bedroom # 2 is a King bedroom with en suite access to the shared hallway full bathroom. Bedroom #3 is furnished with an oversized King with an ensuite full bathroom. Bedroom #4 is furnished with two sets of Twin bunk beds. Bedrooms #2 and # 4 share the full hallway bathroom. Top Level: As you make your way to the top floor, you will enter the bright and airy great room which provides ocean and sound views, ample seating, a Samsung Smart TV with a sound bar, books, a puzzle and game table, a half bathroom, and access to the furnished sun decks. The chef's kitchen is well equipped with stainless appliances, spacious granite countertops, plenty of cookware, a breakfast bar that seats 4, and a dining table that seats 8. Off the great room, you will find bedroom #5, a generous primary King suite with an ocean view private deck, Roku TV, and an attached private full bath. Extras: Private pool, hot tub, tiki bar, gas grills, outside shower, 7 Smart TVs, WiFi, foosball table, 2 sound systems, laundry closet, books, games, covered decks, sun decks, deck furniture, and parking for 6 vehicles. No Smoking/Vaping. Dogs Welcome. Distance to beach access: 300 feet. Beds: 4 Kings and 2 Twin bunk Beds. Key Type: Keyless Entry. Check-In Location: At the Property. PRIVATE POOL is open from April - October Pool Heat is an additional $500 per week Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub. Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an email 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to the guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

This was a great find in Hatteras. We were 4 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs and the house was just perfect. Complete with pool, hot tub, bbq, outdoor shower, 5 bedrooms (1 master suite off the kitchen) space galore for it had plenty of room for everyone. Every room had a balcony or access to a balcony to enjoy the views of the sun rises and sun sets. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cooking gadgets, coffee makers, pots, pans, bowls etc etc. other than our own food, drink, spices, etc we really didn’t need anything (may want to bring foil, sponges, paper towels etc with you)
If you walk to the end of the driveway, across the street, and up the wall way you are at the beach which was not at all crowded the week we were there. We brought our own pop up tent and chairs but there are chairs available in the carport
The neighborhood is pretty quiet which makes for a pleasant evening and brilliant night sky from the balcony. Within a mile or two are local shops once you find your way around (note, it’s alllll local so small type stores, mom and pop coffee shops/bakeries, rental shops, ice cream etc)
All in all great house and location we had a blast!!!
Note: there is a family of deer that lives in the thicket in the front so you have guests in the morning and evening :)

This is a fine property for young adults. Nice kitchen. Very clean spaces. Terrific decks, pool and hot tub. highway 12 noise was bothersome for those like me who prefer to sleep late. many, many steps to reach kitchen level and to reach beach. baths are modern but need mats or non slip strips in tubs.

The property was wonderful. We paid to have the pool heated and it was worth every penny. The 1 and 4 year olds were in every day though some days the temps were in the 60's. The "great room" was fabulous. Loved the place and hope to go back! Also, we were unsure about the proximity to the beach. It was perfect as everyone needs to use the boardwalk entrances to protect the dunes.

What a great vacation! This place has it all. I am always worried when I book a place from pictures and reviews, but this place did not disappoint. We were traveling with three families and needed space for everyone. Take Me A Wave has three master bedrooms, two kid bedrooms, and plenty of bathrooms. The king beds are very comfortable and there is enough hot water for everyone to shower without running out. As for the amenities, all I can say is WOW. The pool is big and clean, the hot tub is on a porch so you can use it in all weather. There were beach chairs galore, and the kitchen is fully stocked for any type of cooking you might want to do. Seriously, we cooked almost every meal there and found every sort of pan or kitchen tool we needed. There is a dual coffee pot for carafes and k-cups, two toasters, a waffle maker, blender, crockpot, hand mixer, and griddle. As for location, it is not beachfront, but pretty darn close. We had great views from the third floor, and a three minute walk to the beach. The driveway is directly across from the beach access. There is an ice cream shop and deli within walking distance and a few stores and restaurants within a mile or two. We did have a couple of minor issues that we reported through email, and the response was almost immediate. If you are worried or on the fence about this place, don't hesitate, book it! I know we would love to come back. It was one of the most memorable and relaxing vacations I have been on.

Location was perfect. Views beautiful from the many decks. Pool wasn't initially heated, but someone came out same day I called. The towels were thin, and could have used more dish towels. The dishwasher stopped working after 2 days, and owner replacing it after we left, so won't be an issue for future renters. Overall, the house was great for our family with 3 young kids. Shore Details was great to work with!

Our group of 10 loves this house. It’s a beautiful house, and where it sits you can see the ocean and the sound. Absolutely lovely. We loved the pool and the hot tub. Pretty living area too. Everything was awesome!

The house is beautiful and the views from the main living area are wonderful. The living/dining area is spacious with a large dining table and very comfy furniture. We loved that each bedroom has access to a balcony. The master bedroom is extremely comfortable and all rooms were very clean.
Excellent location , close to the ferry to Okcracoke and convenient to several seafood restaurants. Easy walk on a sidewalk to the ice cream and
sandwich shops. Enjoyed the beach only steps away!
A few of us drove past the property upon arrival. The house is set back from the road, so trust your GPS and be sure to turn down the long driveway. One reviewer pointed out that the driveway floods after every rain. This is true but we didn't find it to be a problem. It wasn't too deep to drive through and when walking to nearby businesses it is more convenient to go through the back yard to the sidewalk.

This house was perfect for our group. Quiet, plenty of amenities, and enough king-sized bedrooms for the couples. The open floorplan of the kitchen, dining, and living rooms makes it easy for everyone to be included in conversations. Plenty of deck space to either have small groups chatting or find a private corner to read.
The kitchen was well-appointed with the exception of needing more larger sized serving bowls for family dinners.
This house is comfortable, beautiful and mid to upper scale.

This home was even more beautiful in person! The recent updates were tastefully done, the home was very clean upon arrival. The management company was extremely responsive to questions I had prior to our trip.
Every room has a balcony and almost every room has a bathroom attached.
The pool area was great, plenty of chairs, lots of space.
The house was a short drive to the market, general store and a short walk to the ice cream shop.
I would highly recommend this property and the company that manages it!!

Literally steps from a private boardwalk to the beach. Spent the weekend waking up to ocean views, watching amazing sunsets and walks on the beach while watching dolphins play in the surf. Perfect size house for a big family with plenty of private bathrooms for all. We look forward to returning to Summertime very soon!

We loved the location and how close this home was to the beach. The outdoor pool was very nice. The interior is outdated, the living room couch is old and stained, carpet is musty. Most bathrooms had mold in the vents. The kitchen had no spray cleaner of any kind to clean, no storage bags, etc. also, the driveway floods with any bit of rain. The owner was very nice and helpful. The house just needs to updates and tlc

House was very well kept, clean and more then enough room for the seven of us, eight with the dog. Had a great time, quiet and relaxing.
The pool and hot tub were used a lot, short 400 feet to the beach, one minor issue with rain but the owner Mike worked with local resources and I helped to relate. Mike was great to work with and resolved the issue, or should I say inconvenience of rain.
All in all a great place to stay if you want peace and quiet along with close proximity to everything you could need.
Would recommend to anyone.

We had three families staying together at Summertime and had plenty of room. The views were beautiful, decks for each bedroom and off the living room! The walk to the beach was a short straight shot, which was so nice and convenient! We enjoyed the pool every day and the hot tub! We were in walking distance of the ice cream shop, Happy Belly, which was excellent!
Our boys surfed fish, we rented a charter boat and also a pontoon boat another day. The miniature golf and go cart place was a short drive along with restaurants and shops and Ocracoke island.
This was a wonderful house to stay in, the only negative was it definitely needs a deep cleaning, however I am a little over the top when it comes to clean, it was nothing terrible. There was plenty of pots and pans, coffee mugs and beach chairs there for everyone which was nice. The dining room table was very nice, it accommodated the 9 of us with plenty of room to spare!
The bedrooms all had good mattresses, not one complaint from anyone on a bad night sleep! It was nice having so many bathrooms, just could use a little updating in most of them, but they did the job!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay and if it wasn’t so far away we would stay there again! We would definitely recommend staying at Summertime!

We had a great stay. Only wished there was cupboards for all of our grocerys to be put in, and a second refrigerator would be helpful. iT was well furnished with things you may need. Our only problem was the pool filter didn't seem to be working. We all had a great time. Very short walk to the beach was nice.

This is a wonderful location and home. Great beach access and very spacious home. The home was generally clean, but could stand some improvements with deep cleaning and rain leaks in master bedroom during extensive rainfalls. Property Mgr was very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay amd truly enjoyed the pool amd jacuzzi!

We had 5 adults and 3 kids around age 6 and this house was absolutely perfect!!! Definitely would love to stay again! It’s super close to catch the ferry to Ocracoke and the beach is literally a minute away! The views from all the decks are gorgeous..

The house was clean and as described in the listing. Beautiful location with views of both ocean and sound. Very large, clean beach was just a short walk from the driveway. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table. Internet connection was fast and reliable. The water from the fridge dispenser tasted great. Was looking for out-of-the-way location to wind down and this was it. Restaurants and stores seemed to be just coming on line at this time of year. Restaurant websites were not great to find out what was open and what wasn’t, so need to try to do some research before you go.Curious to see what crowds would be like in-season, but given the area I would think even at peak it wasn’t too bad. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
