Martina's Apartment is an amazing place to stay in Ortesei. Located up the hillside at the end of the road [there is a bus stop within meters], the views are as spectacular as shown in the listing pictures. The beautiful building is a chalet style with other apartments on the lower floors (there are younger children so expect some noise when they play in the yard during the day, but it is whisper quiet at night). Sitting on the balcony at sunset or sunrise, the songbirds are all you will hear.The apartment is modern, spacious, and immaculately clean. The living room / dining room / kitchen has plenty of space for four. The kitchen is fully functional. The mini fridge isn't large but it kept food and drinks cold and froze ice quickly. Both queen beds were comfortable and the duvets will keep you toasty at night. The corner showers were just large enough, but the rain shower heads with hand wands made up for the space limitation. The washing machine in the hall bathroom worked well. The wifi worked well in all rooms. Finally, there is a parking space for the apartment in the large garage under the building.Martina is a wonderful host. Communication with her during booking, pre-arrival, at check-in, and during our stay was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure our week long stay was perfect. Check-in was easy and she had maps and information to share with recommendations about what to do and see in the Val Gardena.I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect place to stay for our family of 4. Parking was convenient at the apartment and the ski bus stop is steps from the front door. Great views from the balcony and a perfect place to enjoy a drink and take in the views after a day on the slopes. Kitchen was well appointed and made it easy for us to cook in for dinner or make a real breakfast.

Martina’s apartment was great! Great price, service, and very clean. The location is a bit uphill from the rest of town and ski slopes so using the bus system is required, especially if carrying ski equipment.
