Lovely location and convenient for our needs. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was provided. The folder of information was very useful (we used it to order a curry delivery!).
On arrival, there were 2 lots of dog mess near the entrance steps. Someone came to clean it up and was most apologetic. Shower plug hole did not drain very quickly, so had to cut my shower short or it would have flooded the bathroom (I wrote this on a feedback form so, in fairness, they did not have a chance to put this right while we were there).

This location is hard to beat. Other people are around but it is very quiet and private. The shepherd's hut provides a lot more space than I was expecting. It was perfect for two of us with one tiny dog. Having a little private courtyard was very helpful.
It is hard to find down sides to this property but the only thing that was a bit disappointing was having to pay extra to use the hot tub.

The location and peacefulness, the staff communication, the hot tub and instructions on using it safely. How cosy it was.
There was nothing to dislike it was a perfect place for us to reset for the week ahead
