Centrally located, near everything but quiet. An easy walk to two large supermarkets, cafes and restaurants as well as the waterfront. Air conditioning and ceiling fans made the temperature very pleasant. Lovely almost 180 degree views from a good sized balcony. Views down to Darwin Waterfront as well as over to the pearl fishing fleet. Nearby public transport to all attractions. Comfortable bed, two types of pillow. Large TV and 3 seat sofa. Pool in hotel was lovely and there is a decent restaurant in the reception too open M- F. Great for the first night. Apartment is fully equipped and milk and coffee plus dish washing powder was supplied as a starter. There is a washing machine and drier and washing powder too. Walk in shower with rainwater head. Excellent, clear and prompt communication for access instructions and questions. Would stay here again. Is in the Mantra Pandanus hotel building.

Close walk to where we wanted or needed to go
Disgusted with the attitude of the relationship between Booking.com and the actual hotel
The hotel staff told me to drop the keycards to the desk when checking out "in the morning", only to be told "in the morning", hands in the air, when leaving, with a taxi at the front door, an airline timetable to meet, that we don't accept keycards on behalf of the booking company.
I was told that I needed to go back into the dingy room, remember the code (which I had deleted from my phone).
Finally, in disgust, I through the card on the floor and left, very very disappointed.
Luckily, on the way to the airport, and searching my recent calls files, I found an odd number.
After ringing it, it was the person who initially spoke to me about locating the keycard on arrival.
He was angry, I was angry.
Finally, he told me that he was going to the hotel to get the keycard and sort it out.
I assume all was ok.
Overall, not an experience that I would go through again, that is easily solved by not using Booking.com again.
A big thumbs down experience after using Booking.com for many years.

Very helpful host, good location and views - nice apartment.
The bathroom did show signs of mould and could do with a good clean.
