The hostel was well maintained, beds were clean and comfortable and bathrooms although cramped - were adequate. Privacy curtains on the beds were a welcome inclusion. The kitchen area was tiny - I didn’t use the stove so I can’t comment. Sense of community was great, everyone staying there was friendly and courteous. - the ‘for free’ spaces in the fridge and pantry areas for unused goods left by departing guests was a great ‘no-waste’ initiative.
There was no eating or snacking allowed in the bedrooms,
The luggage storage under the beds were a pair of wire cages on casters with ply fronts on them and they often got caught on each other or on the bed posts making them cumbersome to use.
The staff didn’t really seem to enjoy their jobs, and it felt like it was a bother to them if you asked to use any of the services they provided - like towels or washing (for a fee). The toilets twice ran out of toilet paper.

I loved the whole experience of sharing the hostel with women from all around the world. I felt safe, comfortable and welcome throughout my stay
Sometimes, at night, there was a lot of noise from the local pubs, but the hostel was great.

I had a really pleasant stay here. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and felt very safe, especially as a women-only hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient.
