Drainage of toilet not acceptable Had to use plunger to clear Reported to maintenance and to resort to not putting toilet tissue into bowl

Nice location, reasonable price, good facilities inside.
You have to put pound coins into a box to pay for the electricity, this was not mentioned to us at all and we only knew how to do it because a resident there showed us. We thought the electricity would be included in the price and as I said we were not made aware of this when booking.
Also the toilets flush didn’t work very well and took ages to drain and needed to be flushed 2 or 3 times after using.

The Chalet itself is lovely in a quiet area of Norton Park. This is our 3rd time staying there. It is handy for a base for visiting places in the area.
This was our 3rd time staying there. The first time it was excellant and clean. The last 2 times the chalet has not been cleaned very well before we arrived. The blinds are filthy and the floors dirty dont think they have seen a mop for a long time. The couch is heavily stained. The lock on the door needs replacing as sometimes hard to lock when going out. The keysafe also needs replacing as its a struggle to open it once u have put code in. We won't be booking again at The Bolthole
