Nestled in Peru, this attractive house for $1,216 per night is a great choice for your next break. Beautiful Lake House with 5,600 sq ft on 13 wooded acres and private lake. Direct view of the sun setting over the lake/Bromley mountain every night from the Living Room, Great Room, Dining Room, Kitchen & Bedrooms. 2 Fireplaces plus 2 outdoor fire-pits Minutes to 4 major ski resorts. Perfect for family reunions or large groups. After a fun day of skiing, swimming or exploring everything Vermont has to offer, relax by the fire while enjoying gorgeous views of the lake and mountains! Then look forward to fine dining in one of many excellent restaurants in Manchester or BBQing on the deck - the choice is yours! After dinner go to the patio and enjoy the outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows with kids, or fire up the wood burning stove and enjoy your companions by the fire. There is also a sauna, a gym, a hot tub, pool table, foosball, dartboard, as well as another 4 living areas. 3 of the living areas have TV and 2 of them have sofa-bed/futon that allow them to serve as an 8th or 9th sleeping space. The Appalachian trail is only a 5 minute drive. Manchester Center is 15 minutes, Bromley Ski area is 4 minutes away. Swimming, fishing and kayaking right on the property.

Everything was great working with the owner Pat was a pleasure. The house is large which worked for my family of 14. Close to Bromley and Stratton. We skied at both mountains. Any problems with the house were taken care of immediately. I would defiantly go back and would recommend to our friends!!

Our extended family gathered for our annual Thanksgiving in Vermont....a tradition that now spans more than a half century!
The Peru House is located just off Vermont Route 11 in the eastern shadow of Bromley Mountain. We were greeted with a few inches of heavy wet snow, creating a perfect sledding opportunity for the kids to do some sliding on the gentle hills on the property.
The house has spacious common areas, a well equipped kitchen, a large deck overlooking the beaver pond, and panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
It's a short drive to the towns of Londonderry and Manchester for shopping and dining, and there are plenty of nearby options for hiking, skiing, and biking.
Regardless of the season, this is a perfect spot for a large family with varied interests.

This house was everything we expected and more. From check in to check out everything went smooth. Patrick was a great host. He answered all questions promptly
. He checked in with us while we were there to see how things were going. The house was extremely clean and spacious for my family of 4 generations. The yard is huge for the kids to run around. The lake was right there for swimming kayaking and fishing which which we did. It was a wonderful vacation had by all of us. We would definitely would recommend this house. We would also rent again.

Just stayed here for a long weekend, and we had a great time! The house is secluded so it was very peaceful. and everyone had a nice time kayaking and playing games. The kitchen is well equipped, so we also enjoyed cooking. It was also great that the owner was really responsive if I had any questions.

This sprawling, lovely house held 12 of use comfortably: 2 families of 4 had mini-suites to themselves and the rest of us were comfortable in large bedrooms. The beautiful main rooms look onto a lake, and one is a large recreation room with a hot tub outside on an elevated porch. We didn't have to leave the property and were entertained for 3 days straight! There were plenty of sheets, towels, etc. Will definitely have our next reunion here again!

I can’t wait to go back! This house & location are Amazing- directly on a private pond with the mountains in the background and close to so many fabulous restaurants & shopping. I’d like to book again in the winter for skiing, as it’s right between 3 great mountains. The check in is simple with keyless entry. The house has so many updates & each room is spotless.
It is VERY spacious with nice sized bedrooms, plenty of baths, several separate living areas on both floors, a game room, gym, Pool table & more. I got lost a few times there is so much room! Patrick, the host is very accessible & responds immediately to any questions. He made us feel at home immediately.
It is well equip with everything you will need. The mattresses & all beddings are all high quality. This location is perfect for all seasons. I was with all adults, however the house is set up to entertain groups and families with children alike.
There are several water toys/kayaks to play in the pond and the water is very clear. Every detail was well thought out! There is a nice fire pit with plenty of wood & all of the furniture inside & outside are all very comfortable. Even if I never left the property, there is a ton to do! I enjoyed sitting in the Jacuzzi on the large outdoor deck & star gazing! I cannot say enough about the quality of every feature of the house, the perfect VT location and best sleep I got in over a year! It’s nice & quiet. I will definitely be booking again soon!

My family and I stayed at the property along with several friends. Everything went very smooth and there were plenty of things to do together (hot tub, gym, sauna, pool table, large dining area, fire pit, hiking, etc.). I'd like to go back when it's warmer so we can get into the lake as well.

Our family had a relaxing, fun time at this huge, comfy place by a pretty lake. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and all the watercraft for paddling on the lake. Sweet times!

If you’ve seen those Vrbo ads showing overjoyed people in impossibly beautiful estates- that was us, and Patrick’s seemed like one of those places. It’s spacious, clean, had everything my group (adults with mostly young kids) could need: comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, a serious gym, multiple spaces for hanging out, including a large main room with pool table, fireplace, TV, board games, allowing kids and adults to occupy the same space. Oh, and a hot tub overlooking our private lake. And a fire pit. Patrick is a wonderful, super-responsive host, who provided a list of nearby activities, but we didn’t really feel the need to leave the place. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Patrick has an wonderful house and property. It was the perfect place for our families and friends to spend time together. I highly recommend his home. Its in a great location, amazing views, lots of space and he is very easy to communicate with. Definitely 5 stars.

I went on a weekend ski trip with friends from work, and this house was perfect for us! Upon arrival, it was very easy to get situated and the house was very clean. There was plenty of space for us to hangout, play games, eat, and sleep.
Patrick provided very clear detailed info about the house and also provided a custom brochure about local activities, restaurants, etc. He was also quick with his responses if any questions came up.
If I ever need a place to stay in Vermont with a group of people, I will certainly book this house first.
Also, the views from the house are amazing.

One of the most thoughtfully planned VRBO spaces I’ve ever experienced, Patrick has managed to perfectly balance touches of home & luxury. The house is clean, well-stocked, organized, and filled with amenities. Instructions were thorough and our family of 14 had no technical issues. Could not recommend more.
Location is also amazing with views of the lake and mountain as well as easy access to everything.

We loved our stay at Patrick's beautiful home. Checking in was extremely easy and Patrick was always responsive. The house is huge, extremely clean and very well stocked. He had everything you may need including plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, and extra blankets.
There are many large rooms with amazing views and plenty of areas for groups to hang out in. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and nights sitting by the fire playing games that were available to use.
The location is very convenient with a local market just down the road and another full grocery store a few minutes farther. For skiing, there were several options all close by and Bromley mountain is under ten minutes away. We enjoyed exploring the nearby towns of Chester and Manchester which had cute shopping options and nice restaurants for lunch. Would love to come back to explore more of the area soon!

First of all may I saw the owner was not only excellent in communication the details but the home was spotless, fully equipped for our kitchen needs, beautiful views in each room and the perfect Vermont winter wonderland with my husband and friends!
Every bedroom had comfy beds, big bathrooms, big living rooms with incredible views of Bromley Mountains too. We especially enjoyed sitting all together playing guitars and singing it was so enjoyable home to be with our lifelong friends in this beautiful home.
Outside we got to play in the snow with cross country skiing and long walks.
We shall definitely be back!

This was a perfect house for our ski trip. We had kids, adults and seniors staying a few nights to ski nearby Bromley and Stratton Mountain. The house is huge, large enough to accommodate 5 families with ample room for the kids to play and adults to relax. Our host was great; very quick to respond, and helped work with us on some arrival/departure issues on our end. We would definitely recommend this property and this host. What a great location! The house is beautiful and had everything you would want in a vacation home. 5 out of 5 stars!

Patricks place is amazing. Its more like a mansion than a house. The home is enormous with luxury finishings, chef's kitchen, spectacular views and close to everything.

Patrick's house is fantastic. It is huge, with high-end features. I loved waking up every morning and watching the sunrise as it hit Bromley mountain.
We had a wonderful time, with multiple living spaces so there was enough room to be together or to go off and find some quiet space.
We are planning on staying again next year.

This house delivered on everything it promised. I stayed a week with my extended family, 16 of us total, and the house had plenty of space for us. We were able to have plenty of space around the house to have groups gather and play board games or cards or pool. On those nights that were clear we were able to enjoy the fire pit on the huge patio, again big enough for all of us to gather around. The views from the deck were stunning, a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee.
Patrick was also an amazing host. He was responsive any time I needed to ask him a question in planning our trip. He also followed up after check in to make sure everything with smoothly. I had to contact him once during our vacation with a question and he got me an answer right away. It is a comforting thing when you know the host is really there to make your trip special.
I would highly recommend this house for a group or family vacation and also booking any vacation hosted by Patrick. This trip was exactly what my family and I hoped it would be
