Looking for a calm and peaceful place to relax? Well you found it... Serenity and comfort is what you get what you stay at The Magnolia. This stylish and comfy space features sleeping arrangements for 6 and all of the things you need to make your stay one to remember. Don't fall in love to hard, you will have to check out at some point! This is a 2 bedroom + 1 bath unit. Parking is located in the rear of the building. The Magnolia is equipped with everything you need for your stay! Guest can access the entire space! I give my guests space but am available when needed I am here for support. My property manager or myself are always available, but we like to give you space! Conventionally located just minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. This neighborhood is walkable, fun and near a ton of nightlife and restaurants! Rideshare Apps + public transit or walking! There is 1 additional nightly rental unit located in the same building. They units do not share any common space. The parking lot is the only area that is shared. There is also an Interior Design Studio located in the commercial unit in the front of the building. The Studio is closed at night. Quiet Hours: Between 10pm-8am. Please be respectful of these hours for the surrounding neighbors / other tenants in other units of this property. The neighbors keep an eye on the home for me and they WILL call me if things are loud or seem out of place. *NO PARTIES* - The neighbors WILL CALL and we will charge a fee.

I booked this place and cancelled the very next day. Communication with the host was so difficult. When I inquired several times about my reservation not being cancelled and refunded, he assured me it was all good on his end. WRONG. I kept getting emailed about my upcoming stay and my VRBO app showed the reservation still active. After failed attempts, I contacted VRBO as well as my credit card company who ultimately refunded me my money for a stay I never had, especially since I was well within my cancellation window. Cody was unprofessional in this regard to help. Even the DAY OF my “check in”, my email didn’t even list the address until several hours after, but it did leave the door code.. please don’t waste your money here. this was an awful experience and thank goodness for credit card companies.

Our trip to SLC was fabulous. The accommodations were clean, attractive, wonderfully located. The kitchen was well outfitted and there were numerous nice touches (lots of throws and blankets, plenty of towels). There were, however, a couple of things of great concern. The door locking mechanism was unpredictable, which meant that we often were standing on the doorstep making multiple attempts to get the door open, never knowing if it would work. The king mattress and the living room sofa were extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was especially problematic ~my sleep was erratic and I had a back-ache much of the week. I would love to rent this place again but won't do so unless there is a different mattress in the master bedroom.

I booked the property 3 weeks prior to my stay but didn’t receive check in information on the day of my stay. All interactions were automated and I couldn’t contact the host. I arrived at the property and continued to establish communications but never received an entry code. After 3 hours past check in time, I was forced to find somewhere else. Furthermore, the entire street was blocked off dude to construction. I counted 3 excavators and 2 skid steers, with one of them being parked no further than 6 feet from the front door. After trying to initiate a refund, I received countless repeated automated messages. Later that evening, Cody eventually gave me the entry information but it was so unrealistic to expect that I would have waited for hours and hours in the heat to see if he would ever reach out. Up to that point I had zero communication and then I checked the reviews which showed several of the same story. I know mistakes happen and I will happily take down this review once I have been refunded but as of 3 weeks past the check in fate - I have had no refund and only misspelled automated responses. I’m still not convinced this is a real VRBO property.

We did not receive the check-in information, which I don’t hold against the property owner. I called the owner and texted them and heard back from them within minutes with the check-in and property info. What was unexpected and problematic was the major construction project going on right outside our door every day from 7am to sundown. And the locking mechanism for the door was not smooth, having major issues when attempting to enter the property. The one bathroom is in the main bedroom, so not conducive to sleeping more than two people. Also, the door to the bathroom is a sliding barn door with gaps, so no privacy whatsoever. A little ridiculous to think 6 people would stay at the property. But yes, there was beds enough for six people. Location was perfect, and plenty of parking. Those are the two very positive aspects. When construction is over, property would be very quiet.
