This is a nice place to stay, conveniently located near the highway. Patrons should know that there is no front desk and the key must be picked up at a separate location prior to entering your room. Not a huge inconvenience, but it was unexpected. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I slept well.

Room had microwave and refrigerator but no tv. Bathroom was clean. There was an unexpected tax that added to an already extreme price. Checking in at a location 5 miles away was not convenient.

Post reservation processing by Expedia is flawed. Selection of Soldotna Inn as destination resulted in room at Soldotna Lodge, 5 miles remote from Soldotna. Check-in requirement sent to me stated that photo id upload prior to arrival was required, however there was no provision to do that. Calling the facility revealed that there is no check-in desk at the Soldotna Lodge. Visitors must go to Soldotna Inn to check-in. Soldotna Inn does not have staff on duty after 11 PM, however there is a phone on the wall of the entry to the Inn for calling a staff member for after hours check-in. Convoluted, not smooth.
