Comfortable and quiet, just what we wanted. Very well equipped, incl. top notch pots and pans. Perfect WiFi. Lovely hosts live next door and are equally happy to have a chat or leave guests to their own devices. Huge wild gardens with plenty of seating, the courtyard outside the front door is also a lovely place to sit. Great location for exploring North Devon's beaches and countryside provided one has a car (there's an infrequent bus service to the village).
There are no local amenities (the village pub has closed) but plenty of shopping options in the Clovelly Road in Bideford ten minutes' drive away. Or order home delivery from your favourite supermarket.
Over-bath handheld shower difficult to use as one can't stand up in the bath due to sloping ceiling and there is no shower curtain.
Bedroom gets very warm during a heatwave and there's only one small window into a small courtyard (the fan provided does help).

Very clean comfortable homely
We were given the wrong PIN number to get into the property messing around for about half an hr. Trying the phone numbers left messages but nothing. Then from out of the blue a lady called Sue approached us and that’s not the PIN number. Not a very good start
