Alexxanders Apartments-5 stars are not enough!

Alexxanders Apartments was a fantastic stay. Once we realised we were on the wrong side of the train station (don't exit the town side), it was easy to find. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious and clean with everything you could possibly need. It is an easy walk to the train station for the MotoGP at Sachsenring and not far to walk into Chemnitz. Lidl convenience store is nearby. A restaurant is also attached to the apartments. Sitting on our small balcony on the 3rd floor, we saw birds taking flight and soaring on the wind into the courtyard.

Comfortable Apartment & Splendid On-Site Restaurant

The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, nicely furnished with pleasing decor & good Wifi + view - accessible via a lift. Approx. 600m walk from the station. & 250m walk to Lidl Supermarket. Communication with the property very good + helpful staff on-site. Lovely restaurant on-site - recommend reservation to avoid disappointment.

Nothing we 'didn't like' – just slight confusion (at our time of booking) prior to booking as there were 2 listings for the same property - 'Alexanders Apartments & Studios' & 'Alexanders Hotel & Boarding House, Restaurant'. One has lift assess to rooms & apartments & the other, access only via stairs. I understand the property may now have up-dated their listing to avoid the confusion ? Recommend clarification prior to reserving.

Schöne ruhige geräumige Ferienwohnung.

Das Bett im 2. Schlafzimmer nimmt zu viel Raum ein und quietscht fürchterlich. Zu zweit ist das sicherlich nervtötend und ungemütlich. Die Klobürste im Bad hat einen ungünstigen Platz und sollte mit der Halterung für das Ersatzklopapier getauscht werden. Dann kann das Handtuch am Haken hängen ohne die Gefahr, auf der Klobürste zu landen.

Sehr zuvorkommendes, freundliches Personal, großartiges Frühstück mit allem, was so lecker ist, problemloser Check in auch noch spät am Abend bis ca. 22:30 möglich - so lange, wie das Restaurant unten geöffnet hat, welches ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert ist.
