Tucked into the mountain, the location of this little gem is sublime. One would expect there to be stairs up to the cottage to enable a perfect sea view but the stairs are non-slip and easy to climb, even with groceries and luggage. The kitchen is equipped with all one needs and wifi worked perfectly. The woodburner inside was a huge bonus when the weather turned cold. Despite the very strong winds, we could still sit outside in one section of the porch. Absolute joy! Access road is lovely from the Simon's Town side. It's also a quick hop to nearby Misty Cliffs, Kommetjie and Imhoff Farm Stall. Self check-in is always a win and our host was most responsive to every message. Dankie, Marcel! We'll definitely be back!

I like the fact that it's really hidden away. At the backyard is a trail into the mountain and everywhere you look is beautiful green with a view of the ocean.
I didn't like the sight of that old bed standing infront of the balcony of the bedroom.

Spacious, bright and airy unit with terrace and great sea views. Very well equipped kitchen and laundry. Lots of seating options inside and out and a barbecue with charcoal etc supplied. Permits supplied for adjoining nature park.
An aircon unit would be welcome in the hotter months. And a full length mirror. Plug in mozzie repellent a must.
