A well equipped mid terrace house in a very quiet part of Keswick but within easy walking distance of the town centre, the lake and the theatre. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a large fridge and freezer. We (2 people) used only the dining room with a lovely big table and a sofa but there was also a front room with another 2 sofas and a TV.Upstairs we used the main bedroom with plenty of hanging space, good mirrors and lots of room. All rooms seemed to have radiators with thermostatic valves so it was very easy to warm up a room if necessary.
We were in an area of terraced houses and most occupants had at least one car with, mostly, no dedicated space. This meant that we didn't find a space for our car anywhere near for the first few days of our stay BUT this house has a private parking space in the backyard accessed through large double gates from a back alley. It was tricky to back a largeish car (Insignia) in the dark the first time but we soon got used to it and it was marvellous for loading/unloading. If we came back earlier (by 1700+) it was usually possible to grab a space fairly close - and we had the backyard as a last resort.

Excellent, central location with off-street parking. House was v clean and comfortable and warm!! Excellent communication from owner and allowed to check in early which was a bonus! Lovely Xmas decorations. Had everything we needed for our Xmas mini break!
These are just minor niggles and wouldn’t put us off staying here again:
V cold kitchen floor (bring slippers !!)
No downstairs toilet ( I’m just being lazy !)
Lack of spare bin liners for kitchen bin and no spare loo rolls ( again not a big issue!)
