La maison est magnifique moderne et traditionnelle à la fois.. le jardin et le sauna sont très agréable. L’hôtesse fait des petits déjeuners incroyables d’un restaurant étoilé. Elle est par ailleurs très gentille et très serviable. Elle est venue nous aider sur le lieu de notre accident de voiture, c’est que aucun hôtel n’aurait fait. Nous la remercions pour sa bonté et sa gentillesse.
Si je dois vraiment dire des choses négatives, c’est peut-être l’emplacement qui est beaucoup trop proche de la route. On entend donc énormément le bruit des voitures. À part ça c’était très bien.

On the positive side, this is a beautiful property with peaceful gardens in a very nice part of Japan - even the drive there was very enjoyable. Yuzu is a good host and made us a delicious breakfast.
Unfortunately, this property is not accurately advertised. We booked this as an 'entire two-bedroom villa' as stated in the description. It is not. What you get is a bedroom and bathroom in a house occupied by somebody else. We planned to cook and use the bbq advertised in the description. When we arrived we were told that the kitchen is out of bounds. We were allocated a small bar fridge in the living area with two metal cups. No plates or cutlery. When we checked in we also learned that the owner/host lives upstairs, There isn't even a door separating the floors, and no sound protection. We could even hear quiet coughs from upstairs, so you really have no privacy. We had booked/paid for two night, but left on the first morning. We just weren't comfortable that we could relax without disturbing the owner and the many house rules.
The property is beautiful, and the host is very thoughtful - provided lots of links and information about the area, and cooked us a wonderful traditional breakfast. So if you are comfortable with the shared living arrangement then definitely consider this property. This just isn't what we thought we were getting, and we weren't comfortable with the situation.
