Escape to the Great Smoky Mountains in a 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath luxury cabin with SCENIC VIEWS from every window. In summer, the Great Smoky Mountains come alive in full bloom - perfect for exploring scenic park trails or hitting the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, all within 15 minutes of the cabin. After exploring, head back to the spacious cabin to relax in a bubbling hot tub while the kids are entertained by the arcade system in the game room. Situated in the secure community of Cobbly Nob, this location also offers convenient access to the 18-hole championship Bent Creek Golf Course and the quieter Greenbriar entrance to the national park.
The house features an expansive living area great for family fun with a large gas log fireplace, cathedral ceiling with exposed beams, and remodeled fully-equipped kitchen with new stainless appliances. A washer/dryer closet is conveniently located near the kitchen. Living area opens up to the expansive redwood deck for easy entertaining and enjoyment of the amazing mountain vistas with cushioned patio furniture. Lower level has 2 master suites each with King bed and en-suite updated bathrooms. The lower level game room with Queen-size sleeper sofa rounds out the sleeping arrangements for six. The game room, which boasts a classic arcade game console, opens to the brand new hot tub on the lower redwood deck.

The cabin was great overall. It’s older than it looked in the photos, but well maintained and nice. Location is quiet and peaceful. View the deck is beautiful. The hosts were great to deal with. There was only one big problem for us that might be a benefit for somebody else. When we first opened the door, an overpowering smell of floral chemical scent hit us. We discovered that every room in the cabin had a plug in scent dispenser in it. One of them on the whole house would have been too much for me. Those types of chemical odors give new migraines. We found all of the plugins and set them outside to work as bear repellant. It was after 9pm when we got there. When we got settled and unpacked, we went to bed. The bedding was also soaked in floral fragrance laundry soap and fabric softener. I didn’t get much sleep that night due to all the overpowering scents and the headaches. We bought free and clear laundry so the next day and washed all the bedding and towels. We opened doors and windows every evening when we would get back to the cabin. It took 4 days for the scent to begin to decrease. On our last evening in the cabin (night 7), we didn’t notice much smell when we got in. Finally. If you are someone that love fake floral chemical fragrances, you will be in heaven in this cabin. But if those odors make you sick too, you should probably stay somewhere else.

Cute cabin was a nice cozy getaway. Nice COLD air conditioning was a plus. Not too far back in there off the main road and paved all the way. Great view of mountains off the back deck. We had a nice getaway for our anniversary.

The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the location is great if you are killing fire something away from the traffic and busy downtown of Gatlinburg. It’s older than it appeared in the photos, but it is well maintained.There one negative was a huge one for me. When we opened the door, we were hit in the face with an overpowering smell of fake floral chemical fragrance inside the house. These chemicals cause me to have migraines. My wife doesn’t get sick from them, but she didn’t like the strong odor either. We discovered that every run in the house had a plug-in scent dispenser in it. Just one for the entire house would have been bad enough, but every room was a LOT. We finally found all of them and set them all outside. We opened patio doors and several windows in hours of airing it out. By the time we got settled and unpacked, it was bedtime. That’s when we discovered that the sheets and bedding were also soaked in fake chemical floral scent laundry detergent and fabric softener, on top of soaking up the plugin odor. I didn’t get much sleep all night due to the stink and the headaches. The next day we bought some free and clear laundry detergent and washed all of the bedding and towels (they reaked to). We would open doors and windows when we got back to the cabin each evening. We couldn’t leave them open all night, as there are no screens. But we aired it out for a few hours each morning and evening. Finally, after 4 days the stink was livable. Not ideal.
