Buyer beware!

The house was (by and large) exactly as charming as the photos suggest. It was also a nice surprise how well-equipped the kitchen was (e.g., there were an espresso machine and a milk frother).

First off, the communication was terrible. In the small print you will find that you need to bring your own towels and bed linen, but they only told us about that two days before our stay when we might have already been on the road. It also was impossible to determine the exact measurements of the bed, duvets and pillows (and, thus, of the needed linen) or what exactly would be there. On arrival, there was also a binder with additional rules and requirements (parts of it Danish-only) which we were supposed to follow even though we couldn’t know of them at time of booking. My highlight was the request to please not use too much toilet paper – great way to feel people welcome. If you are an arachnophobe you should also carefully consider booking here, the place was practically teeming with not-too-small, not-too-shy black spiders. Also very annoying was a persistant murky smell right in the kitchen area. The kitchen had the additional problem that there wasn’t really any place (except the fridge and a bread box) to store your own food or gear, all the shelves and cupboard slots were taken. Then, as charming (and modernly equipeed) as the rest of the house is, the bathroom was more like something out of a horror movie, making it really uncomfortable to visit it after dusk. Finally, if you are anti-Nazi you might be taken aback by a prominently displayed art book by Leni Riefenstahl.

Huset var nyrenoveret og meget smagfuldt indrettet. Desværre fik vi aldrig TV til at virke.

Smukt gammelt nyrenoveret hus med ro og dejlig have overfor

Flot rent og med lækre ting helt nyrenoveret. Fruen kunne lide at det ikke var fjernsyn og næsten ingen data dækning og dermed megen ro i huset. Den dejlige have overfor hørte med uden det var nævnt men fortalt af naboen.

Lav hovedhøjde så gå med bukket hoved hvis du er 175cm.
