Tha attractive rural position with lovely views and walks close by.
Our Dutch host Anya (Anja?) was charming and helpful and laid on a splendid breakfast on the terrace of the main house.
We enjoyed watching the antics of her chickens. Her dog Fendi was endearing despite his best efforts to look and sound fierce.
Our accommodation was not in the handsome main house, but in an annexe without much of a view. The shower room/WC was well equipped but was separated from the bedroom by only a curtain rather than a door, and this was inhibiting!
We thought it would be easier to find a decent evening meal close by, but the recommended one had closed for holidays (September) and we ended up driving to a brasserie on a trading estate. Surprisingly ok, actually!
