Very warm, west facing and being a sky rise building. We put on the air con. Wouldn't normally put the air con in this time of the year.

Clean, well equipped (except no dryer), beautifully designed. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for three nights and were genuinely impressed. The apartment was extremely clean, fresh-smelling, cosy and beautifully decorated. It felt like stepping into the home of someone with a wonderful eye for detail rather than staying in a plain and impersonal hotel. The cute cushions and thoughtful decorations made the entire apartment feel warm and welcoming. One of the biggest highlights was the price. For a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a car park in such a central location, the price was surprisingly low compared with similar accommodation. Considering the quality, space, facilities and location, it offered exceptional value for money. My girlfriend said, “This is a 10/10,” almost immediately after walking inside. Even after our three-night stay, she still felt exactly the same and could not stop praising the apartment. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive. They arranged an early check-in for us, helped carry our luggage upstairs and replied to messages very quickly with clear and accurate information. It felt like having excellent online support available whenever we needed it. The location could hardly be better. After leaving the building, you simply turn right and walk for less than 40 seconds to reach Box Hill Central. There are countless Asian restaurants, shops and food options surrounding the apartment. It is a fantastic place for a couple or family wanting to spend a few days exploring Box Hill and trying different Asian foods. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, with pots, pans, bowls, plates, cutlery, utensils and almost everything needed to prepare meals. There was even a wide selection of sauces in the fridge, which my girlfriend especially appreciated because we did not need to purchase whole bottles just for a short stay. Other useful features included a washing machine, dishwasher, spacious fridge, smart TV, two air conditioners and two bathrooms, including an ensuite.

Although the apartment itself was very clean, some cookware and kitchen items had visible marks, dust or food residue when we took them out. We needed to wash them again before using them. There were also no facial tissues provided. The towels could be improved as well. Only two hand towels and four bath towels were supplied, and they felt quite small, thin and worn. Newer, thicker towels would make the stay more comfortable. The hand wash appeared to have been heavily diluted with water and should be replaced with proper hand soap. The air-conditioning remote-control holder was also loosely attached to the wall with adhesive and would benefit from a secure, permanently installed holder. The Wi-Fi was quite slow, while mobile reception inside the apartment was unreliable and sometimes dropped to no service. Also, while the distant city view was excellent, the immediate view directly around the building was not particularly attractive. These issues are relatively easy to fix and did not outweigh the many positives. Overall, we had a wonderful three-night stay and would happily recommend this apartment, especially for its beautiful interior, excellent facilities, helpful owner, unbeatable location and exceptional value for money.
