Easy to find. Central location but not noisy. Kitchen generally well equipped, just odd things lacking. Showers good. Downstairs toilet.
Plenty of towels etc.
Close to shops, Waitrose and Tesco, 2 fish and chip shops, several eating places within walking distance . Small , volunteer -run interesting museum along Main Street.
No complaints but comments below might help.
Nothing really, as all of these things could be overcome or ignored but were noted for future reference and didn’t spoil anything.
No kitchen scissors! Could do with more mugs especially if intending to use dishwasher.
The freezer, though adequate, was in desperate need of defrosting to avoid any further damage to drawers. We were extremely careful to avoid damage.
A washing up bowl would be helpful.
Need to take extra care on stairs- quite shallow with top one different.
Limited hanging space for 6, but fortunately only 3 of us.
Bath plug required!
Parking of 2 cars to be able to drive out took some working out, but ok once sorted. Entrance from main road best approached from market end to turn right through arch. Drive/approach tricky if vehicle not small!

Great location, although the parking outside in the yard may prove more difficult for those with larger cars. The house was perfrctly sized, rooms were clean and comfortable. We spent time at The Barn during a very hot period but the barn was cool and comfortable so it was perfect (although id expect in the cooler months it may feel a bit chilly). Overall though, a lovely, quiet, comfortable stay for a girls relaxed catch up.
Our only negatives are that there are way too many air fresheners in the property - they were overpowering and unpleasant. The downstairs was also very dusty under the sofas and the floor needs a good clean - our feet were black at end of day one.

Place was great after it was cleaned!
When we arrived tired at 6.00pm the place had not been cleaned after previous users, which was very disappointing. I had to telephone to try to sort it out. Cleaners were then organised to come in about half an hour or so. We waited for them to arrive and then we went out for 1 1/2 hours wandering the town's closed shops, when we really wanted to be relaxing and eating our supper! The cleaners did do a grand job and were pleasant. They were just loading up to leave as we arrived back. So this was not a good start to our much needed, short two night relaxing break away.
