I had a great stay at Villa Ema. The hotel has a lovely calm atmosphere and excellent facilities. My room was very comfortable, with a great bed and a powerful shower. It’s also perfectly located just a five-minute walk to the beach.
Very accommodating hotel manager. I had a late flight, and she kindly arranged for me to have a shower in the evening before heading to the airport, which made a big difference. A very relaxing and well-run place to stay.

The property is beautiful. Very tastefully done and spotless. Exactly like the pictures. It’s minutes from a quiet beach with a few beach cafés. We stayed two nights. The room was huge, lots of storage. The host and the staff were very sweet. Breakfast is lovely. Hikkaduwa beach is about 30 minutes and galle fort is about 20 minutes by car. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work on the second day.
