El alojamiento limpio , un lugar muy hermoso para ver el atardecer y estar cómodos . Lo recomiendo además de que el señor es muy amable y súper atento .

The village and therefore this accommodation is a little away from the ruins....maybe 15-20 min walk A few things you may not get told by the host ... like the Wi-Fi password is on the LED of the small router in the lounge and make sure all windows are closed at dusk to stop mosquitos getting in....otherwise you'll have to hunt them down throughout the house!

Philodemus is a small house with a beautiful garden. The bedroom we slept in is big, confortable and absolutely clean. The house includes also two bathrooms (both outside the rooms), a kitchen and a nice, bright living room, where abundant, traditional breakfast is served. The neighbourhood, made mainly of two floor-houses, is quiet, characterized by the presence of many plants and olive trees. We had only a one-night stay but Ahmad managed to make it a special part of our travelling in Jordan. In fact, he proposed us to have dinner with a local family, which revealed itself as a great experience both culinary and cultural. Do not refrain from Ahmad's help: beyond being a touristic guide, he is a fantastic host, full of resources and suggestions.

The only aspect to improve is the possibility to pay by other means than cash payment. Credit card payment would be definitely a plus.

Very cute and clean little house. It was perfect for our family and we enjoyed having the whole place for ourselves. We were welcomed with tea by the lovely Jameelah. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, as unlike in most hotels in Jordan, products were very fresh, and locally or homemade. The owner Ahmad was very responsive and helpful, he made sure everything was good for us. And we recommend visiting the archeological site with him, he is an excellent guide !

The hot water tank is a bit small for four persons.

The guesthouse of Ahmad is cosy, simple and very clean. The breakfast was delicous and prepared with lots of love. Ahmad is super helpful, knows everything about the region and can give good advice about what to do and where to hike. I really enjoyed my stay in Beit Philodemus and can really recommend it.

Ahmad is a local guide and a super kind person. He's super available and truly special. The place was cozy and super clean, really enjoyed that! 100% recommended, worth the price.
