The apartment is self - catering and has a well equipped kitchen but if you don't want to cook the next door Blooms cafe ( owned by the apartments ) will provide a brilliant breakfast to any taste from an extensive menu (saltfish and bake with iced Demerara rum coffee makes a great start to the day.) The apartment is fully air conditioned and is set in a gated secure complex shared with the Rahaman motor racing team ( who are very quiet ) and is pretty well soundproofed. The proprietors, especially Caroline, go out of their way to be helpful in so many ways to add that little bit to your experience.
Nothing - this was the perfect location for a holiday in Guyana.

The location was perfect. I loved the space and facilities from the unit - so much nicer than being cramped up in a hotel room. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, arranging taxis and suggesting places to go. Lovely restaurant on the property called Blooms. Slap up breakfasts and great dishes
Noise is an issue - they have another Restaurant on the site called Nikkei which pumps on Thursdays to Saturdays and pounding music goes on until the small hours of the morning (including really bad karaoke). With three bedrooms to myself I could get some respite at the furthest bedroom, but if you are using all the rooms then those at the front next to Nikkei will not be charmed.

Plenty of space, very comfortable, central to town, and all the crew (Carolyn, Ryan, Emica, Jad, Cindy and Kim) took great care of us and assisted with book things and looked out for us. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. Safe and secure location.
