The owner was vey kind. He let us check in early as we took an overnight bus to Siwa. The room was very comfortable and we were able to use the facilities even after check out as we were waiting for our next overnight bus! Thank you for such kind hospitality!

The owner is very nice. We arrived in the early morning from Cairo, and he made the room for us the night before, so we can have some rest right after we arrived.
They provided tours for safari and other tours with reasonable prices.
He listened to our advise to improve the place.

I like the staff, Bakkar, and the owner, Abdullah. They are very helpful and attentive to the guests’ needs. Bakker is almost always around to make sure we are comfortable. He is very helpful. Abdullah, the owner, answers his texts from us and resolves whatever issues we may have.
I had the opportunity to stay in both Al Manara 1 and 2 and they are both comfortable places to stay in not to mention their great location which are very close to the Siwa Bus Station, the shopping center, Shali Fortress, banks, ATM, fruit and veggie stands and restaurants. Transportation is available just outside of the hostels. Tour operators are within walking distance.
The facilities of both hostels are clean, kitchenettes are equipped, new air conditioning units, WiFi are sometimes unstable but I was told it is all over Egypt. The sitting areas are comfortable, there’s washing machine for free, beds are comfortable, linens are clean and bathrooms are clean.
Breakfast is included in the price of the rooms. It could use a little bit of variety and some garnishing like slices of cucumber and tomatoes. Tea is included and it was good. Other than that, breakfast is filling and I love the beans.
I fully recommend these hostels to everyone who are looking for convenience, safety, reasonable price. Thank you Bakker and Abdullah. I will definitely stay in your hostels again.
Nothing really. I was sad leaving the place and leaving Siwa.
