Great proportioned kitchen and living room. We cooked each night, no problems. Good shower and two loos! Parking space very helpful and rare in Youlgrave. Best location by the lovely valley and stream.
We didn’t realise the street access/view is beyond the parking space, which then leads onto the lovely garden then cottage. So we couldn’t find it initially when we arrived in the dark, despite the ‘Cherry Cottage’ sign on the garden wall at the back of the parking space!

Parking spaces in youlgrave are rare, so having its own drive is great for us. The location is good for the whole of the Peak District, but more importantly, for us, Chatsworth. We love an old cottage and an enclosed garden is essential for our dog. The cottage is spacious and has everything we need. The bed is very comfortable and bedding white, clean, and fresh.
I can't really think of anything negative to say. We love it, which is why we have stayed here 3 times now.

Location was great, with walks from the doorstep. Pubs and cafe in walking distance. Make sure you book a table in the evenings.
Had some issues with the oven. But provided feedback for the owner to check everything is working correctly

Porch to keep boots, coats etc.
Beautiful walks from the front door.
Garden in desperate need of TLC.
Front of porch peeling paint work and scruffy.
Everything inside the cottage was very old and tired.
Very small bath. Didn’t try shower after previous reviews.
Didn’t feel like a holiday home more like we were staying in student accommodation.
