It was ok

The location

The room was next to a gym, and they played loud music every single morning at 6:00 AM, there were not enough toilettes, but I guess it was my fault as I didn't communicate with the owner and requested them, it was kind of Airbnb, I didn't expect that.

Spacious and in shopping mall

The room is from a private owner and not part of the hotel. But it is presented as if so. I was told I needed to pay in cash but no mention was made of that in the booking. Finally I paid by credit card. I was charged 20% extra for that. I was promised an invoice that I need for my work but did not get one. I insisted and was told by the owner that I could leave. It was extremely unpleasant. I was also dirty… a coffee cup in de cupboard still had coffee in it. :dishes had been put away dirty and the toilet was not clean . The owner is a doctor that works in a building about 10 minutes away. His assistant will come to open the apartment and give the keys but she was busy when I arrived so needed to wait half an hour. Maybe the hotel is fine but this ‘apart hotel’ set up is not okay. This is the first time I had such a horrible experience. Booking compensated the extra 20% that I was charged. Thanks for that
