Great location on Isla Carenero. Walking distance to some beautiful beaches and lovely restaurants, and cafes. The staff was very friendly, helpful when asked, and kind. We enjoyed the simple breakfast and great Air conditioning in the room with strong wifi. Love the hotel cats! Super easy location to get a boat taxi.
There seem to be construction going on and the pool was out of service & had no water in it, very dissapointed.
In the shower of our room, there was a huge ball of hair stuck to the wall so it was obvious it wasn't cleaned properly. The toilet didn't flush. My boyfriend and I had to constantly take the toilet lid off to try to fix the water flow, there were still moments the toilet didn't flush. It was super frustrating. No shampoo or soap either. Our room was also next to a room of three people who we could hear every conversation when they were there. The big bed was not the most comfortable. I ended up sleeping on the single bed because it was comfier.

Logement bien situé face à la plage avec ponton, mais cet établissement n’était pas en état d’accueillir du monde nous avons passé 2 nuits difficiles cependant le gardien de nuit a été serviable et nous a aidé à avoir de l’eau un soir ou notre fils était malade.
Très déçus de l’établissement qui ne correspond pas à la description, travaux (et bruit) en continu, extérieurs condamnés par les travaux chambres très humides qui sentent la moisissure, cuisine de la « maison » pas équipée coupures d’eau quasi incessantes pas d’endroit pour prendre le petit déjeuner (frugal) assis. Mais le pire c’est l’état de l’île qui est littéralement envahie de déchets c’est l’horreur nous avons été très choqués et nous sommes hâtés de quitter cette île.

Wir haben die Unterkunft aufgrund der guten Bewertungen gebucht und waren leider sehr enttäuscht. Die Lage ist zwar sehr schön am Strand, leider ist es auf der Insel recht dreckig und riecht modrig. Wir waren im Haupthaus untergebracht, das wirklich dringend eine Renovierung braucht. Unser Zimmer war dreckig und es gab Termiten und Nager in den Wänden. Die Klimaanlage lief aus und uns wurde mehrmals täglich sowie jede Nacht ohne Ankündigung das Wasser abgestellt, um zu sparen. Ich verstehe, dass Wasser auf den Bocas rar ist, aber kommunizierte Zeitfenster oder zumindest eine kurze Ankündigung wäre nett gewesen, um zumindest zwischendurch mal die Toilette benutzen zu können. Das Frühstück war wenig und unorganisiert.

Die Lage ist grandios. Der Garten grenzt direkt an den Strand und es ist absolut ruhig. Am Strand kann man ein Wassertaxi heranwinken und keine 5 min entfernt befindet sich eine Strand Bar und ein Restaurant. Auch die Panama Dive School ist nur 5 min in die andere Richtung entfernt.
Keine Möglichkeit vor der Tür die Füße vom Sand zu befreien. Ein Eimer mit Wasser hätte völlig ausgereicht.

A atenção e disponibilidade de todo o staff, em especial um agradecimento ao Edgar que sempre se mostrou disponível e muito atencioso connosco.
A ilha é bastante bonita, tranquila e perto de restaurantes com muito boa comida. A prainha é bastante paradisíaca.
Por motivos de força maior, faltou água algumas manhãs, contudo a equipe resolvia a situação rapidamente.

The staff was very nice and very helpfull. They created a very good vibe . We had water all the time , and we could even take a hot shower . We enjoyed our stay. Very good location if you enjoy surfing , you’re very close to some good spot :)
The facilities could use a little extra love and some maintenance.

Les abord de l hôtel est sale! L hygiène de l hôtel laisse à désirer !petit déjeuner est vraiment trop juste à 8h 30 plus rien ! La piscine est en travaux tous autour piscine rempli à moitié !!!

L’ environnement de l hôtel est sale le ménage reste à désirer le petit déjeuner est vraiment limité à 9h quasiment plus rien, de plus après avoir dormi une nuit dans cet hôtel j ai des bouton sur ton le corps je ne sais pas part quoi!!! Et pas de piscine comme le dit sur la description piscine vide car des travaux autour

La piscina en unas condiciones de limpieza fatal… se le dio tratamiento químico, pero no vi mucha diferencia

Love the stained wood rooms. Staff were friendly and attentive to any questions we had. Booked as a taxi boat early the next morning as we had a flight to catch.
We thought we heard something between the walls. It’s a wooden property on a desert island where there’s plenty of wildlife. I didn’t mind but my parter was a bit freaked out by it and struggled to sleep at times.

Breakfast was good and service was great! The snorkeling out front of the hotel was surprisingly unique. We saw a 6 pointed starfish and lots of corals and fish.
The rain made it hard to see the whole island :(

We paid for the cheaper private room. There was ac and hot water. The breakfast was simple but good, bread, coffee, eggs and fruit. I believe the hotel is under new ownership and undergoing improvements. Our room was a little tired. It's in a great location to reach restaurants, the beach, and Panama dive centre which was what we wanted. You can easily get back to Colon Island by water taxi for more restaurants and shops.
Our room just felt a bit tired, but I think they are in the process of improving. We needed breakfast to be prompt at 8am on our first morning as we were diving at 8:30....we had told them but they were late. The next morning, when we weren't bothered, they were well organised.

The hotel was amazingly located. It just takes 2 mins from Bocas Town to get there.
The facilities were perfectly clean.
But undoubtedly the best part of the hotel is the staff; Edgar, Samir, Angel and all the other are amazing! Definitely i’m going to miss them all!

Loved the welcoming feeling from not only staff ,but from other guest. The veiw is exceptional and only a small walk through the maintained front lawn to a crystal clear beach. Definitely a must visit for a extremely relaxing vacation.

It was lovely to be a one minute boat ride from the bustle of BocasTown to this quiet, picturesque piece of paradise. The food at the surrounding restaurants was amazingly tasty and priced very reasonably.
Our room was cute, clean and ready for my slumber after travelling for 9hrs from Costa Rica. Breakfast was simple and very delicious offering a variety of fruit, eggs, breads and all I could drink juice and coffee 😊
Our host was more than helpful in helping us get transportation and even helped us book a snorkelling tour. He even let us leave our bags in the office while snorkeling to pick them up before we moved on to our next hotel.
We will definitely recommend this quaint boutique hotel to anyone who likes nature, surfing, dining, hiking or just want a place to regroup to get a breathe of Bocas 👌

The scenery was breathtaking, and the staff was amazing. I loved the variety of fresh fruits with breakfast. It was nice to have hot water and air conditioning. My family felt very welcomed and at home.

Great location - calm and relaxed, but still very central. 1 minute boat ride to the hustle and bustle of Bocas Town, 5 mins on foot to the restaurant, right by the sea, in a well-maintained garden.
Great surfing nearby - 3 minutes by boat to the point breaks or 10-15 minutes walk

The location in Isla Carenero is great, close
to restaurants and to the Carenero wave break for surfers. breakfast is nice and the property has a beautiful backyard and front yard with green areas. very quiet at night.
we were accommodated in room 1, which is close to the kitchen and very noisy in the mornings because of all the clients having breakfast. room 1 was very poor, with an uncomfortable bed, that made a lot of noise while moving. the air conditioning is also very old and noisy as well as the furniture. the bathroom was very small, old and without warm water. we had a hell of a night for 90$. I would never come again cause paying a bit more one can enjoy a much better hotel in other properties of Isla Carenero.

Friendly staff that made sure there was a proper breakfast when we returned from our early morning surf session. It’s close to Bocas Town by Water Taxi (1 USD pp) and to the point break further up the island (20 min walk or 2 USD pp water taxi). The room was okay, with a good AC.
There could be a more cozy social area to hang out. Also, don’t bank on high water pressure in the shower ;)
