Great location.Close to the action but on a quiet street
Hot water pressure very low and water leaked from shower stall. Other than that the room was great.

Rooftop is top notch and better than the pictures. Breakfast was authentic and it had some variations to make things interesting. Mini market next door. Daily cleaning. Soundproof room. Stylish hotel design and decor.
Small tiny insects showed on various surfaces in the room and out, even at breakfast coffee machine and chocolate spread jar. It weirded me out and had to use insect repellent in bathroom and main room counter. Bed covers were bedsheets nothing more. Staff members don’t speak English. It wasn’t a problem for me as I can manage in Spanish. Anyone can enter and go to rooftop with no card needed for the elevator which wasn’t entirely safe in my view. All the above might be normal in a Medellín hotel. The positives outweigh the negatives.

This is a classic don’t judge a book by its cover situation. The hotel is quite new and well decorated, but beneath the pretty design there are lots of details that need attention. It’s well located with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The first red flag was that my room was not as described on Booking. It very clearly states the junior suite had a separate living room and bedroom. There was no living room. Again the room was nice but there were no drawers or places to put clothes away. The closet had a total of five hangars in it. I asked for more and got five more. The jacuzzi in my room was not working and for four days I got different stories about when it would be fixed. I was finally moved to another room that fit the description on the app and where the jacuzzi worked properly. The AC didn’t work as well but it was manageable. The breakfast was good but it was not refreshed and items often ran out. The breakfast waiter for the first several days simply shrugged his shoulders and said the items had run out. This generated complaints from several other guests. Toward the end of our stay another breakfast waiter was working who was more attentive and continued refreshing items and food was not running out. He also proactively asked us if we wanted eggs or omelettes whereas the previous waiter had to be asked. Seemed like lots of training issues. The hotel is also the first I’ve ever stayed at of this caliber that does not have laundry service. The rooftop is a huge missed opportunity. It could be a great amenity but the jacuzzis were always cold, the bar often unstaffed and with irregular hours. One day it was closed and in the evenings it’s locked. It’s really a shame because this place has all the makings of a great hotel but falls quite short on the details likely due to poor management and training.
