Absolutely fabulous place stay if you’re on the Camino, the host is the friendliest lady we’ve met so far, very helpful. Rooms are very nice, spacious and spotless.
It was our pleasure to stay there and we would highly recommend this Casa.

The lovely lady who runs this accommodation is exceptional. She is the most organised host I have come across and she was so kind, helpful and her attention to detail was amazing.

Casa do Campo do Forno was one of my fav finds along the Camino Portuguese. It felt like home away from the major camino stages. All you have to do is unwind. The room is superb, the kitchen homely, and the garden a great spot to put your feet up.
Meeting my host, Fatima, and getting to know the generational family home was special. Her hospitality made me want to stay longer.
If you wish to have a rest but not have a zero-km day then plan a shorter day of walking and rest-up at Casa do Campo do Forno. There’s little to do other than put your feet up. It’s more guesthouse than pilgrim Albergue so you have quiet time to catch up to reflect on your camino journey so far😊)
There is one restaurant nearby which makes you feel like you’re part of the local community. Otherwise it’s a short cab-ride to more popular restaurants along the beach.
