We were looking for a place to stay during a long overnight layover in Athens. The airport hotel was ridiculously expensive, but since we arrived in the evening and had a 7 AM flight the next morning, we didn't want to go all the way into the city.
This place was exactly what we needed! Very reasonably priced and only a 12-minute drive from the airport. Private airport transfers were included, with a driver waiting for us upon arrival and picking us up again at 4:45 AM! Communication was smooth, responsive, and reliable, even when our incoming flight was delayed.
It's more of a one-bedroom apartment than a traditional hotel, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There were thoughtful little touches like juice for the kids in the fridge, crackers, and toiletries.
There are also restaurants within a 10-minute walk that stay open late, which was very convenient.
An excellent option for anyone with a long layover or an early morning flight from Athens. Great value for money!

Elpidas house is close to the airport with excellent shuttle service. The downstairs unit is very roomy, comfortable and well fitted out, including a washing machine. The host was exceptional, ensuring excellent communication. Snacks and bottled water were provided.
Unfortunately the hot water was just tepid in the morning.
