This was a guesthouse on the property of a mansion in the American Village on Namhae island. I liked that it was a stand alone house. It had good parking and close proximity to a beach and a convenience store. The owner let me check in a couple of hours earlier than I had planned (it was pouring rain and all of my plans got adjusted). The place was clean and the towels were adequate.
The bed was not that comfortable and the frame squeaked whenever I moved. This bed could use an update. Also, the front door was tricky to latch. The cost of the hotel was about 40,000 won per night higher than any other place I stayed in Busan, Geoje, Suncheon, Gwangju, or Buyeo. Maybe that is the Namhae tax.
