About this cottage rental
Historic brick cottage has its own granite monument on Main Street. Private gated parking, huge fenced front yard. A history buff’s dream! So many restaurants and shops, Frontier Park, parades, festivals and fun!
Very comfortable sleeping - queen bed in the bedroom and gel foam mattress on the sofa bed in the living room.
Parking is at a premium on Main Street, but you leave the car and walk everywhere, knowing your car is inside the gated area waiting for your return. There is room for four cars, or even an RV!
Check out the City’s website for all of the activities going on in the area. The holidays are especially fun with special events like ice carving contests, costumed characters, singing on the street corners, and Santa parades. Festival of the Little Hills, OktoberFest, and Fourth of July fireworks on the river are just a few of the things unique to the Historic District.
Some favorite restaurants on Main Street are Old Millstream, Magpie’s, Salt and Smoke, Llewelyn’s, and Novellus - and there are many, many more!

Great location. The host was very kind and gracious. The site was clean, parking was fantastic and checkout was super easy. Will definitely stay here again!

Liz was a wonderful host. This a cute house with a wonderful history. The gated parking lot is a dream. Parking in Old Town is horrible. It is mostly on the street or in parking lots that you have to walk to and from. So you never know if you will be able to park close to the place you are staying. That is not a worry here!!! No one is parking in your spot but YOU!. Another thing, with all the bars with music we did not hear a thing!!! And Magpie's is right across the street and they have wonderful potato soup. If you are a people watcher you can sit in your own private yard with your favorite drink and watch people walk by.

The place was cozy and beautiful! The location was perfect. There were shops and restaurants practically outside our front door, so we didn’t need to drive anywhere. Also, you parked your car in the back of the house which had an electric gate to get in and out.The host was very friendly. She told us the history of the home and info St. Charles. We will definitely stay there again!
