About this house rental
Located in Grand Rivers, this lovely house for $295 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Freshly renovated, this lake-front unit has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully-stocked kitchen, new floors, new countertops, new furniture and a new screened-in porch. The screened-in porch provides a second living area complete with outdoor sofa, club chairs, side tables and an outdoor dining table and chairs. From the porch, the view of the lake and the surrounding landscape has the feel of living in a treehouse. If you prefer to relax indoors, the main living area is inviting and functional with two recliners, a table and chairs for eating or playing games, an electric fireplace, a new couch and a cabinet with books, cards, puzzles and games. This unit has everything you need to spread-out and completely relax. The loft bedroom features a king bed, its own bathroom, a reading corner (overlooking the bay on the other side of the street) and a desk and chair with second-story views of the lake for the “work anywhere” person. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds with new mattresses, smart bedside lamps (USB ports) and direct access to the downstairs bathroom and the washer and dryer. The main living area and both bedrooms are equipped with Smart TVs. There is not a pullout sofa. The kitchen has been updated with new countertops, new refrigerator, new sink and freshly-painted cabinets. It is a bright and cheerful space to make coffee, pour a glass of wine or cook a complete meal. You will be close to one of the outdoor pools, boat rentals, the Thirsty Turtle Tavern and so much more.

We love the condo we stayed in. Super cute and right on the water. If it had been a warmer tone of year- we absolutely would have e joyed the deck overlooking the lake. The only trouble we had was finding the condo office to check in. There was no map sent out before our arrival to show where it was and there ended being several different locations for each group of condos, we asked a nearby guest and they were gracious enough to share their map and point us in the right direction. After that, everything was smooth sailing!

Brought our adult children for an overnight stay to see the lights at Patti's and explore the area. Then played cards until the morning hours. The cabin was perfect for our needs and great location!!

We just finished a hugely fun family reunion, renting 4 of the 300-area cabins. First, my back is a wreck and the loft bed is one of the few I’ve encountered while traveling that don’t require 15 minutes of stretching every morning, allowing me to simply get up and go. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped, furniture was all comfortable, and the whole place was clean and well laid out for our family of 4. My only nit to pick is that any noise downstairs sounds like it is right next to you if you are in the loft.

I'd love to give this a 5 star rating, but unfortunately when I arrived to check in, I learned that they had cancelled my reservation and booked the condo for another guest. Because of that we ended up in a much more out-dated condo. I'm very pick about where I stay and the view was really important as well. We were not refunded any money and were told we had to pay the same amount for the lesser condo because prices are set by number of bedrooms, and not the quality of the condo.We enjoyed our time there, and the location was pretty good. But the view was skewed by trees and there wasn't much privacy from your neighbor when you sat outside. The outdoor furniture was worn and had holes in it so it made it hard to sit in as well. The sleeper sofa was extremely dated and uncomfortable (luckily it was just my 13 year old sleeping on it and he didn't mind). I hate to complain because it's a great resort, but there were some books issues that made the stay not as good. We will definitely revisit Green Turtle Bay but will choose a different condo (and will keep our fingers crossed that it works out!).

I think we paid close to a grand for the property itself which was poorly updated, had an infestation of aunts, and wasn’t all that clean. The grounds themselves was ok. Rather outdated all together, to include their pool areas, shops, and yacht club. The yacht club was a total joke. The dress code was a tad over the top given the setting. I ordered the filet for $38 and received a flank steak. The rental service for water crafts was extremely limited. We were hoping to go jet skiing but no luck. The golf cart rental for three days was $120.... Felt a bit over the top. We won’t be returning considering you can do an all inclusive legit resort 4 day trip to Mexico for 1300. Super disappointing all around.

We love staying at Green Turtle Bay for our Anniversary. This was the first time that we stayed in this particular unit. It was excellent. We had everything we needed. We loved it so much that we ordered carry out at Patti’s two out of three nights and had our dinner in the screened in porch, another night inside, only because it was too cold to be outside. We will most definitely Reserve this unit again.

We were very pleased with the look of the condo. It was very clean and comfortable. However the first night there the tap water had a very strong sulphur smell. Possibly due to this being the first use of the season? By Saturday evening the smell was gone. The deck was also not in very good repair. Had to wear shoes on it due to the railheads jutting up through the wood and pealing paint/splinters. Fortunately we only had one vehicle as parking could be a problem.

Our family of 4 had a fantastic getaway for Spring Break at Green Turtle Bay Resort at the Lakeside Treehouse. The Condo was sparkling clean, beds were nice and comfortable, kitchen well equipped. We loved the layout of the condo with loft bedroom with a king and the bedroom with separate beds for our son and daughter. The screened in porch was fantastic! Couch and chairs were so comfy- even enjoyable in the pouring rain - so peaceful with beautiful views of the trees and lake. We rented a golf cart one day to explore the whole resort and town of Grand Rivers. Had lunch at Craig’s Dairy and grabbed a few groceries from the well equipped Village Market. I didn’t book a golf cart ahead of time (which I would definitely recommend doing) and it still being off season, supply was limited, but the ladies in the office were super accommodating and able to get one for us for our second day. The indoor pool was very nice and the ladies at the spa were so friendly and welcoming each time we went. We appreciated the on site pool towel service too! We had dinner at the Thirsty Turtle twice- one dine-in (beautiful sunset views from the outdoor area) and one super convenient takeout which we were able to easily order from the website on our phone. Food was delicious both times. Had a birthday dinner for our daughter at Patti’s, food was delicious and leftovers we even good reheated for lunch the next day! Our stay was perfect - wish we could’ve stayed longer. We will definitely be back loved the resort and lake area!

This was our second stay at Green Turtle Bay. This unit was so cozy. The deck furniture was nice and comfortable. We spent a lot of time out there even though it was very cold. We recommend grabbing lunch or dinner at the Thirsty Turtle. The food was really good with a fun atmosphere. We also walked around the little town where Patti's is located. It's beautiful this time of year with Christmas lights everywhere. We will stay here again!!

Very relaxing and enjoyable week. I would recommend putting signs up at the pool No Music Allowed. We cut one visit short when a group came and played annoying music at the pool. Also, tell construction, remodeling people not to start so early (5:30 am!)They were loud and language was foul.

We love our visits to Grand Rivers and Green Turtle Bay. We took my sister and BIL to enjoy the condo, Patti’s, area lights and Badgett NYEve celebration. The brunch on New Years Day at CYC was a treat. We do want to put in a very special thanks to the manager of Lighthouse Landing for the golf cart rental during our stay at GTB. Also the office staff at GTB are always helpful and polite. This was not our first nor will it be our last trip. We are already looking at a return Valentine visit. Everything was awesome.
