Location, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, staff very pleasant and helpful, great location to walk into the city.

Really didn’t like the parking situation. When we arrived there was plenty of space in the car park, but we were forced to have our car moved to an unseen place by the parking attendant. Cars arriving after us were allowed to remain in the car park. I don’t like using lifts, I asked for the stairs. They were awful, concrete floors and walls, it was more like a multi story car park. They had automatic lights and were locked, I felt very unsafe on entry so didn’t use them. The hotel corridors had automatic lights but were very dimly lit and looking ahead was dark, so I felt unsafe. Also it need a good hoover. The room however was clean. On arrival we were told there was no food available and to go into town to eat. On our return, lots of people were eating in the bar! We would have done this given the opportunity.
