The location was fine. Deepest Cornwall. Beautiful as ever. Gill welcomed us and had left scones, cream and jam for us, and there were horses, a super donkey and a very friendly dog, which we appreciated very much, indeed.
The property may well be challenging for you if you have mobility issues. The stairs are quite steep and all the more difficult to navigate given that the handrail/banister on the right (going up) is not grip-able half way along. There is also a solid wooden table top supported by four chains that hangs from the ceiling in the kitchen. While this is an interesting feature it obviously moves/swings if you lean against it or try to use it, which is not at all practical and a little disconcerting, particularly if you reach out to it to support yourself when coming the bottom of the stairs.

Everything! Excellent host, cottage was perfect, location was remote, quiet and stunning. Greeted by Gill and Jess, met Daniel the donkey and the 2 beautiful horses. A perfect base location to go out and about around Cornwall, it is in the countryside but 15 minutes and you're in Penzance centre. Cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Felt like home from day one!

WE loved everything about Gill’s cottage, it had everything you need. It’s very close to Penzance and the seaside and you get to experience the beautiful Cornish countryside. Her dog Jess was lovely and so the donkey and the horses. We felt like home and Gill is the perfect host.

Getting to and from was abit of a mission down 1-2 miles of single track road, could also do with a deep clean
