Situated in Princeville, this charming condo for $160 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Air Conditioned, Cozy, and Full of Aloha! Nestled in the cozy and quiet Hale Moi complex in Princeville, our spacious Studio suite condo is perfect to serve as your home base as you explore the awe-inspiring beauty of the North Shore (and beyond) of Kauai. The condo is less than a 5 minute walk to multiple beaches and the newly opened restaurants and spa at the 1Hotel Hanalei. The View The view from our condo is a spectacular showcase of the unspoiled beauty of Kauai. Off the lanai to the right, take in a breathtaking view of Makana Mountain, the oceanside mountain peak made famous as Bali Hai in the movie South Pacific. Enjoy sunsets right on the lanai as the evening sky comes alive with a kaleidoscope of tropical color. Looking directly off the lanai (or from the inside of the studio) is a lush, tropical greenbelt (alive with birds chirping in the morning) and the Namolokama mountain range. After rain showers, you can see one, two, or even dozens of cascading waterfalls. Experience it all without leaving your condo! The Accommodations Our Studio suite is a second-floor unit (up only 6 steps) with vaulted ceilings, a private 75-square foot lanai with breathtaking views, a great kitchenette, beach gear, and everything to make your stay cozy and comfortable. One of the best things about our complex, Hale Moi, is it is small and low-key - our building has just four condos. The condo has a king bed with Serta plush top mattress, a super comfy living area with love sofa and chair, dining table, a 37" flat panel TV, and two ceiling fans. The kitchenette is well-stocked with a mini-fridge/microwave/toaster oven/coffee maker/hot plate/dishes/etc. (and you can of course use the gas and charcoal BBQs on the property). Overall, it's light and airy, full of aloha, and truly a lot for your money! A/C & Heat The suite has a quiet and efficient AC and heating system - It never hurts to have A/C, as Kauai is guaranteed to get hot and humid in summer, but also at any time of year. And if you're coming in winter, it's nice to have heat - overnight lows on Kauai can dip near 60 degrees! The Location Our condo is special for many reasons and a major one is location. Hale Moi is in one of the only areas in Princeville where you have beach access within walking distance. Two beaches are within a ten minute walk, with the closest being Pu'u Po'a beach in front of the newly renovated 1 Hotel. Right outside the front door is the scenic jog/walk/bike path that runs through Princeville, and across the street is a famous sunset viewing spot (Voted one of the 10 ten sunset viewing locations by Traveler Magazine), which is also great for whale watching if you’re with us during the season (Nov-April). Gorgeous Hanalei Bay is a 10 minute drive and for hikers, several trails are within reach, including the Okolehao trail in Hanalei and the infamous Kalalau Trail. If golf is your thing, the Makai golf course (recently renovated) is a half-mile away. For an easy dinner out, Hideaways Pizza Pub is a 5 minute walk. Princeville Center is a 5 minute drive and has a grocery store, coffee shop, yoga studios, shopping, and more. The place was very nice and very clean. The beds were comfy and it was close to a lot of activities. They communicated well and quickly. They left beach stuff (chairs, towels, goggles,etc) that was a super nice bonus! Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend. It was clean, quiet and well maintained. The sunrise view over the jungle was gorgeous, the water pressure was great, the amenities were perfect. The bed was firm but really nice. The owner was quick and responsive.

Our stay at this studio was great! It was perfect for my spouse and I. It was very clean, comfortable and we loved sitting on the balcony in the morning to enjoy our coffee with the view. The kitchenette was also very practical as we were able to prepare lunches etc. Would stay again!

Really enjoyed my stay at this condo over in Princeville. The location was pretty prime, walking distance to the Makai golf course, Hideaway Beach, and 1Hotel. Also was a very short drive into Hanalei which made getting around a breeze.
The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with AC that made some of the warmer evenings more bearable. The lanai was beautiful and I often enjoyed breakfast or coffee out there on a nice morning. This would be a great unit for anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay up in Princeville and positions you close to some of the best attractions up there. Would definitely recommend to friends or family!
Couple small areas of improvement:
- The beach gear felt pretty outdated (aside from chairs). The umbrella had definitely seen better days and the snorkels were both broken in certain areas which was disappointing.
- Parking was a tad bit confusing at first not realizing that I was in the studio and not the loft unit. Wound up figuring it out and worked out fine but the spaces do fill up in the evenings so just plan accordingly.

We really enjoyed our Princeville stay! The condo is clean and convenient to shopping and a nice pizza restaurant. The community is lovely and there is a nice walking trail right across the street. Daniel provided lots of useful information about activities, restaurants, etc. in the area. I would definitely recommend!

This property was the perfect studio in Princeville. Positioned next to many restaurants and beaches it is the perfect place to stay if you are checking out the North Shore. Checkin and Checkout process was seamless, plenty of parking and the hosts were very easy to communicate with! There were also beach chairs and towels waiting for us when we arrived! Would recommend this property to anyone!

We had a great time at this vrbo. The AC and shower work well. Short walk/hike to Queens bath. The only downside I'd say is one of the snorkels they provided was broken, and the other leaked like crazy, we had to purchase our own, which is not a big deal but wasted a few hours. Recommended bringing your own if you plan on snorkeling.

Had a great time in this rental. There was a slight issue regarding cleanliness when we checked in that the owner was able to very quickly and effectively resolve. Loved how close this was to the rest of Princeville and Hanalei. Great proximity to Hideaways beach. Great AM views of the mountains at sunrise and a short walk from fantastic sunset views on the ocean.

My fiance and I had an incredible experience staying in the studio. It had everything we needed for our stay including the beach and snorkel gear. We found the bed to be very cozy. The highlight of this studio is the location, close proximity and views of Hanalei which is arguably the most beautiful place on earth. Mahalo.

Nicely decorated and nice location within walking distance of 2 beaches and sunset overlook just down the street. Only complaint is bed is a bit lumpy from from people sitting on it and could really use new mattress.

The studio apartment was exactly as described! Clean and efficient setup, although we didn’t really use much of the kitchenette but it was nice to have a few kitchen things for breakfast & cheese / crackers.
The views from the studio (you can see the mountains from the entire studio) are gorgeous. We barely used the AC because air flow was nice & the jungle sounds were so unique.

We found this cute studio to be conveniently located to some great restaurants in Princeville and Hanalei.
We arrived to find the unit open and ready for us. We loved not carrying keys with combination locks. Kitchen was well stocked with all of our needs. Views off the balcony showed several rainbows during the week.

This place was perfect for my husband and I. We wanted to split our time between the north shore and south shore so we spent a couple days at this adorable studio right in Princeville. Walking distance to Queens Bath, sea lodge beach, great pizza, and beautiful sunsets. The princeville market is awesome for groceries, snorkel gear, and a killer deal on our favorite kauai coffee. We extra loved having access to beach chairs and a backpack cooler. quiet private entry in a beautiful community. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay in this great studio. Enjoyed seeing the waterfalls on the mountains out the backdoor. Nice to have the beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels etc.
We cooked most of our meals with the microwave, hot plate, and toaster oven and they all worked well. Very convenient to walk down to Hideaways beach and also to walk down the side of the Hanalei 1 Hotel.

Nice to have sand chairs, boogie board, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment so we didn’t have to rent. Place was sufficient. Lanai in sun, so not used. Parking is an issue. Challenging if you get in after 8ish.

Great property for the price point. Pros: Host-John is a superb host & provides a wealth of area information , lovely location, reasonably priced, beach chairs & snorkel gear provided. Cons: Neighbors loud between 1-3am 5 nights of the 7, no laundry facilities nearby & only 1 bath towel per guest, 1 roll of bath tissue. Bring ear plugs and stop for a few additional essentials & you’ll have a good stay.

This property is the perfect spot from which to explore the whole island. A couple minute walk from a wonderful sunset spot, many beaches nearby, good access to Hanalei and Nã Pali. Well stocked place, including some very helpful beach gear and working AC. Internet was good enough to join a few work calls without too much trouble. Only consideration is that if you want to cook dinner in, the kitchen is a bit limited (microwave, hot plate, toaster oven, kettle, coffee maker) because of the size of the place - but you still have all that you need. Highly recommend.
