The hotel is very well maintained, the pool is really nice and pool beds very comfortable too with a nice bar. It is in a great location, walking distance to the marina. The rooms were cleaned daily, very good aircon and smart TV in the rooms. Bathrooms a bit outdated but shower worked fine etc. Beds were large and comfortable and the staff so friendly.
Grass at the pool gives a home for insects.

We stayed at Hotel Praia Sol last week (9 family members) as we were attending a wedding in Vilamoura. Our stay here was thoroughly enjoyable, staff were extremely friendly and polite, the hotel was spotless, the location is excellent (only a short walk to the beach and the Marina). The buffet breakfast was gorgeous and on our second morning the staff set up a large family table for us all, which was a lovely touch. The swimming pool and outdoor area is also lovely and quiet and the little bar/cafe there does great toasties! Would definitely recommend this hotel, great value for money.
A walk-in shower would be preferable to the shower over the bath, just thinking of elderly visitors.
