By booking with Seabrook Hospitality, you have access to all resort amenities, including the pool and gym. Unique “farm-to-beach,” orchard cottage experience! Situated closest to Windgate stable, Crescent Moon offers an unobstructed view of pastoral scenery, including orchards, forests and pastures, while maintaining modern amenities designed to make your stay restful, relaxing and renewing… Welcome to Seabrook and Crescent Moon Cottage! We are so happy you've given us the chance to share our cozy beach getaway with you. We think it's the perfect place for you to just "be" with your family, friends, canine companions and Mother Nature. Crescent Moon's orchard cottage at 10 Grove Lane may be tiny but it’s packed with luxurious details we think you'll appreciate. It begins with the king-sized Tempur-Pedic bed. There's nothing better than being able to s-t-r-e-t-c-h out while taking in that first breath of ocean fresh air. Nothing, maybe, except the smell of freshly ground coffee wafting in from the kitchen. The Ninja Coffee Bar ensures you’ll be able to create your favorite morning brew. Get your day moving (slowly, if you prefer) with an extended stay in our tiled walk-in shower. With temperature controlled rain and hand-held shower heads, teak serenity shower stool and a heated tile floor, you may never want to leave the bathroom. That's not a bad thing! But you'll have to get out of the house sometime, so why not take in everything the new Farm District has to offer? Seabrook's newest and most interesting neighborhood boasts unique views of horse pastures, forests, berry orchards and a community garden. Picturesque Windgate stable is right across the country road outside our end-of-the-row cottage. A short walk up Meriweather Street leads you past Seabrook founders Casey and Laura Roloff’s beautiful home and into Horseshoe Park, home of the grandest fire pit. Tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts are right around the corner, as is a playground and fenced dog park. The center of town and expansive sandy Pacific Ocean beaches lay only minutes ahead. There you’ll find your Seabrook neighbors enjoying swimming, bicycling, hiking and beach combing. After a full day of outdoor fun, cozy up on Crescent Moon’s comfy oversized couch, ideal for family movie night in front of the 60-inch 4K smart TV—or keep it all to yourself as you nestle in to read by the toasty gas fireplace. The fully stocked galley kitchen is accented by white country style cabinets and grey quartz counters. Stainless steel appliances add a touch of class to your living space. A full washer and dryer are hidden away in a nearby closet. When night rolls around there are plenty of sleeping options. The primary bedroom’s king bed is supplemented by a full size memory foam bed contained in the couch. In the loft, twin trundle beds can sleep up to four comfortably. The loft functions well as a kids’ retreat, too: board games, a 40-inch smart TV, a Nintendo Wii with over 75 games and plenty of headroom ensure the kids ample space to goof around or decompress! Crescent Moon Cottage is our place to Rest, Renew and Relax. May it also be yours!

The cottage was lovely, very nice. Same for the the town and merchants (especially Buck's Bikes!) However, we'd picked the town, and the location of the cottage, specifically for quiet and rest. As of this writing, the cottage is still described in the first paragraph on it's vrbo page as "restful, relaxing and renewing." That description is misleading (to put it kindly.) The first morning we were there, we were awakened (at 7:45am) by the loud engine, and loud incessant reverse-beeping, of a diesel big rig dump truck, dumping gravel out of a metal truck bed less than 20 feet from the bedroom window. (The front grill of the truck probably actually considerably less than 20 feet away, just across a gravel path from the back door of the cottage.) That truck, along with a backhoe and other heavy equipment, including the occasional brain-searing sound of a circular saw half a block away, were a constant during work hours for our 3 night stay. The gravel road between the cottage and barn are used by the construction teams throughout the day, and the gravel piles behind the cottage are part and parcel of their work. Thankfully, the rental office was understanding enough to refund the cost of one of our three nights, which helped make up for the lack of the quiet that we came for. The person at the rental office that we spoke with mentioned that "the website" (not sure if she meant vrbo.com or seabrookwa.com) used to have text alerting renters to the possibility of construction noise, and how to rent a place that is away from construction. Since that text is no longer present, we had no warning at all that we'd be staying on an active construction site. That's a pretty significant bit of information to omit for a place that is being sold as restful and relaxing. Don't be as trusting as we were. Call before you rent, and ask pointed questions about construction noise, and how to avoid it. Unless you enjoy the sounds of construction sites, in which case, you're gonna love the "farm district."

We were not told that the rental unit was in the middle of a construction site. Noise and dust from 7am until 5pm daily.

Seabrook is a small community where you can tell everyone knows each other. The streets are tight for driving and lots of littles running around. The cabin is in the very back of the community next to the horse stables with a beautiful back deck and fresh flower gardens. The neighbors were very friendly. It was a little hard getting up and down the ladder but my 7 year old did great with it. Bathroom had a wonderful double shower head and nice shower enclosure. Overall the stay was nice and cozy.

This cottage was comfortable and clean, but not quite as nicely outfitted as other VRBOs we've stayed in. We've never stayed in Seabrook before, but it is a nice semi-perfect community of all new homes and cottages. An inn is under construction behind this cottage. This area is a bit of a walk to the town center, and the beach is on the other side of the town. There is one grocery store, one bakery, and one restaurant open during the winter months (that we found, at least). I was surprised that the cottage did not have any coffee available to make, nor any first-breakfast foods that we're used to seeing in other VRBOs, so do get some groceries before you come. The kitchen has all the cutlery, plates, and cookware we needed to cook every day. The bathroom and bedroom were both clean and comfortable. Overall a comfortable stay.
