The beds were horrible, squishy and lumpy. We stayed 2 nights and at no point did anyone replace towels or take out trash. When we asked for an extra roll of toilet paper at the front desk, the rude woman told us that we should have asked the non-existent "housekeeping" staff to refill it. Our electronic room keys also stopped working for no reason on the second day. We had to address the issue with the friendly staff at the front desk again. There are also a ton of pot holes in the parking lot, so watch that you don't get a flat tire pulling in. DO NOT waste your time staying here. You'd be better off sleeping in a closet.

The room was fairly clean. Floor lamp didnt work, tub was a bit rusty in corners. Nothing major, also the heater on high wasnt very powerful, but it was quiet which was a plus.

Place was not clean. I understand it just re-opened, but it is in such need up updating, cleaning and overall general maintenance. It was horrible. They never even gave you number for the front desk. There was not a phone in the first room we were in. We moved to another room. Used towels were never replaced, no amenities what so ever in the room. Both rooms were dirty abd cold.

The initial room that we were put in had stagnant water in the sink which was clogged up. There was a large wet spot on the rug by the bed from a leak. The bathroom was not clean at all, it had a used washcloth thrown over the shower rod and a used bar of soap on the tub and the entire bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time it was filthy.
The staff only changes the sheets, makes the bed and replaces the towels. The room smelled like cigarettes and when we pointed out the things wrong with the room the individual who identified himself as the manager was rude. The pictures on the site are extremely misleading this place is atrocious. I have stayed in some places that were on the cheaper side but this was a dump.

The hotel is what it is, its a place to sleep and that's it. I paid $100 for the night but the hotel isn't worth more than $60 or $70 a night. I think I was clearly paying a much higher rate than other people that I saw staying there. Not a terrible hotel, but certainly not a $100 a night hotel.

I should’ve read the reviews ahead of time. We got there and I immediately was apprehensive from seeing the outside. I checked in and we went to eat, then we came back and went into our room. The smell was HORRID. I’m not what the whole mix was but there was definitely some cigarette smell along with something else. We didn’t even stay an hour. There were people outside their room doing haircuts. It seems most people here are permanent residents, and they don’t care about the cleanliness of things. I’m currently waiting for a refund as it was so bad we didn’t even stay the night, I immediately booked somewhere else.

You get what you pay for. Room was ok aside from lots of hair on the bathroom floor. Be sure to order utensils with food deliveries. None offered at property.

The property and general area seemed rundown and forgotten. It was, as described in other reviews, a place to sleep for the night. As for the room, the bed was clean and comfortable, but the rest was unfavorable. There is black mold throughout the bathroom, especially around the air vent and the area where the pipe feeds the shower head, and areas where water damages were "repaired" also had mold and mildew surrounding the patches. There was old chewed gum on the phone cord, and maybe too many other items to list. As for the atmosphere, it was unsavory. Weekly room rentals are OK for out of town business travelers and such, but not for those who wish to live anonymously and 'discreetly'. Overall, I would not suggest staying here unless you really have no other choice.

We drove up and around the property and never checked in!! This place had old cars in the parking lot. Door open with shopping cart full of trash and clothes hanging out of it! Half dressed woman sitting outside of one of the rooms. No way I was staying there!! Also the picture shown on the reservation page doesn’t match that place!! You as a company offering for people to stay in that crap whole should be ashamed of yourself! I will be calling my credit card company to dispute my charges for that hotel! Absolutely disgusting!!

only one light worked in the room. electrical plugs hanging out of the walls (i can’t believe this place is up to safety code), lukewarm shower water, TV not hooked up, mattress extremely old and not comfortable, poor airflow from AC unit and all room ventilation connected because i could smell pot smoke coming through vents. also - less than friendly staff

We were locked out of our room the 2nd night of our stay. TV only got 5 channels the 2nd night and all of them the first night. No tissues in room. Carpet had food/garbage on it.

The place is a dump. The lock in our room are missing some screws makes it unsafe to be in the room. The bathroom doesnt look like its been cleaned. We left the night we checked in because we didnt feel safe.

I completely understood that i was staying in a budget motel, however i still expect to have all the amenities as advertised in the room i reserved.
Took them three times to get us a room that had all working amenities and matched the room i actually reserved.
We were even informed that most rooms dont have working TVs, phones, lights, etc.
Rooms looked nothing like the pictures.
Motel is run down, dirty, dust and cobwebs on furnishings, stained sheets, bugs on the floors of all rooms, rooms stank of ethnic cooking badly, grime and hair all ovee tubs and sink.
Paint chipping, walls and tiie cracked and falling apart, tub stained in rust.
Did i mention the dead bugs everywhere?
Walkways are dirty, litter everywhere, lobg term guests of the motel playing loud music, doors hanging open, smoking everywhere.
We had zero service from staff. We had to request toilet paper, towels, pillows, etc even on the first night.
Empty shopping carts all over the walkways and corridors of the property, run down cars in parking lot, cigarette butts everywhere you look.
Dirtiest and worst upkept budget hotel ive ever stayed.
Zero integrity in their property based in our experience and urge folks to go elsewhere.

Our guest did not stay because the staff was rude and the rooms were dirty. They said they refunded us but they didn’t. I was still charged for the stay.

The pool had no water. The toilet barely flushed. The bathroom was not clean. Most of the electrical receptacles were dead. Only one light worked in the bedroom. The TV had picture but no sound. I will never stay here again. I feel like I should get a refund.

The property was just average! The ice was all the way in the office and you had to drive around to get it plus not lid on the container. There was a phone plugged that did not work and some kind of radio device that was plugged in and did not work either. The towels and bathroom are was ok. There was a blow dryer in the room but it did not work luckily I brought one from home. The sheets were fine but the pillows needed to be replaced. If you wanted coffee you had to go all the way to the office area to get a cup. The outside area looked in disarray and not kept up. The pictures online are wonderful but totally different when you get there. I would never stay again

This place is a dumpster dive! The property is poorly managed and the rooms are dirty and dingy inside and out! We stayed for 2 nights and there was loud music and random people in and out of each others rooms. It is clear that the management is renting these rooms out as apartments! I couldn’t sit out in the gazebo because a man that was drunk kept asking me for marijuana. NO POOL NO POOL TABLE NO BREAKFAST! If you look at the pictures they have listed to try to book the property, they are OLD PICTURES! The “NEW” management have had the place a year and the pool area is trashy!! Never once seen a maid or anyone cleaning the rooms. We had blood stains on the sheets and I had to buy my own at Walmart to cover the bed. Gnats flying around room, dust, condensation stains and drinks stains that weren’t cleaned or wiped. Dirty tub. It was awful and the people who own it don’t take care of it. Needs to be shut down by the health dept. I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone!! They have construction people working and staying at the property having parties in the parking lots. THE MANAGEMENT IT SO LAZY THEY REPLACED ALMOST ALL THE GRASS ON THE PROPERTY WITH TURF FROM A OLD COLLEGE SPORT FIELD! It’s horrible! SAVE YOUR $ and book a with a better place!

This property is a welfare hotel, the pictures on Expedia are old and make this place look like the Waldorf Astoria.
The pool is empty and the pool area has stuff all over the place, the grounds are dirty and unkept.
BBQ grills outside one room, music from some rooms playing with the doors open.
I’m shocked Roadway has there name on this hotel as I don’t think it’s been inspected In years, oh the room smells like cigarettes.
A woman dressed in her native wardrobe, maybe from Somalia or an African country washing her feet, face and arms outside her 2nd floor room using a milk jug… please go use the bathroom.
Why did we stay here? We needed a room for 12 hours as our reservation at another hotel had been deleted even though I had my confirmation number and reservation but the hotel was now only renting weekly or monthly.
Did not want to pay $250 for 12 hours and this placed looked nice but after we paid and drove around back to park we were shocked but to tired to ask for my $115 back and leave and search out another hotel.
One nice thing was the manager at the counter by the name of Yogi was very nice.

So its understandable what you're getting to in a Motel type of scenario. We were put into a dirty room at first but was easily forgiving by the staff that put us in a different room that made up for it. Overall the place was a little bit "shady" so i wouldn't want to bring kids here unless you're in and out. Definitely could use some renovations but overall was fine with my stay.

One the property looked like an old abandoned hotel. They don’t tell you before you book the pool is no more and no free breakfast. They don’t tell you that they are remodeling the place. If it wasn’t for the maintenance man and the manager I think it was we would have left the hotel. We got a room with a jacuzzi bath and it wasn’t working. We had to ask for another one but the front desk lady at the time said she couldn’t do that at all because they had no rooms available to do so. That they couldn’t accommodate our needs at all. The front desk lady decided to be even more rude and point her finger at my husband I was calm until she did that. I will not be returning to this hotel and don’t suggest anyone else to stay their either. It was such a bad experience overall except for the manager and maintenance guy that stays there. I should honestly get all of my money back.

The toilet was dirty, bed had all wrinkled sheets. looked like the sheets welcomed a few guest, they didn't even have mattress pads to cover the mattress. I was very disappointed. You can bet that I will never stay at Rodeway Inn again.
