The property was fantastic, it is a home from home with plenty of space and amenities. It's a beautiful, spacious place in peaceful surroundings and the garden is HUGE. We loved exploring the varying nature trails around the area and especially liked the beach quarry, about a 20 minute walk away. If you are looking for a quiet location with opportunities to explore nature, this is for you.
The owners were away themselves but a lovely lady who was dog sitting was available at the owners property which was on site. She was helpful. However, we did want to use the hot tub which involved lighting logs. We eventually found matches and some paper to get the logs going but they wouldn't stay alight as they needed changing as they were clearly old and used. There were fresh logs but it would be nice if it was already cleaned out and ready to use for new guests. We didn't use it in the end but fresh logs would be useful to be in the burner.
Also, the water temperature was quite low for the sinks, bath and shower. Again, the lady did try to help but it wasn't the end of the world.
Just one small comment to add...we were woken up one night due to the water filtration system making noises but it was just one night.

Spacious house, well-equipped, very nice and helpful host, easy check in/out.
Blackout curtains are only in one bedroom, kids bedroom is quite bright and sunny in the evenings. Acoustics is quite high, weak mechanical ventilation if there is such.
