Location was good. Pick up and drop off free. Use of umbrellas. Lady at reception was lovely beds comfy.
Picked up in a car that was full of dog hair by young girl who seemed in a hurry. She also made comments about Greymouth having nothing, not a great introduction for our stay. Then when we checked in with her she told me we hadn’t paid. I told her that I had but she wasn’t interested, didn’t enquire at all about how or when I had paid. I wasn’t going to unpack my suitcase there and then to prove it so we paid again and then had bookings.com sort it out. We were a little disappointed that we were only afforded a small bottle of milk for the first day. We had to go and buy our own the second night. There was also no option for a do not disturb so staff had entered our room when we were not there. They had made up one bed but not the other and had turned the heating off. It felt a bit intrusive. Overall it was a bed for the night and it was clean. The older lady was nice but for the price It was a bit less than.
