The hotel is beautiful, modern and exceptionally clean. A special mention goes to the housekeeping team, who were always friendly, professional and helpful throughout our stay.
The room was very spacious including a balcony with a nice view towards the mountain and sea.
Unfortunately, the overall experience fell well below what we would expect from a 4-star hotel, mainly because of the breakfast service.
On the first morning, there was hardly any food available. On the second, we arrived at the official opening time and the buffet was not properly prepared. Throughout our stay, it was common to find trays empty for long periods before being refilled, if they were refilled at all. It often felt as though even the most basic preparation had not been done before service started.
On the third day, we were told that an espresso had to be paid for separately, despite the self-service coffee machine also offering espresso. The problem was that the coffee from that machine was of such poor quality that it was practically undrinkable. Overall, the breakfast selection was limited, repetitive and poorly managed.
What was even more concerning was the lack of training and organisation among the breakfast staff. Communication in English was often difficult, they struggled to explain how the service worked, and frequently seemed unsure of what they were doing. This is not something guests should encounter in a hotel that presents itself as a 4-star property.
