A last minute booking for 3 weeks was obviously a challenge for the private host, but it worked out great. As the balcony faces away from the wonderfully frenetic piazza, it was quiet at night while being perfectly located for all that Atessa has to offer. An absolutely perfect choice, with a fine kitchen, large living area, comfortable bedroom, and AC(!). The town itself also exceeded my expectations. Certainly if I ever return to eastern Abruzzo, this will be the first place I look to stay.
While arrival was a bit confusing, this was clearly due to the last minute (few hours' notice) booking I made.

Mi e’ piaciuto tutto, volendo migliorare qualcosa suggerirei di dotare l’appartamento di una doccia piu’ grande.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and we saw some beautiful sunrises on our stay.
Checking in was easy, and Paulo and his son met us and showed us around. They also supplied a garage space for parking. Paulo was easily contactable, very polite and nothing was any trouble.
The apartment was in a fantastic location next to the piazza and in the old town of Atessa, which was a beautiful part of the town, clean streets, and friendly residents.
We booked the accommodation as we were viewing houses in the area and happy to say we are now in the process of buying a house just a 10 minute drive from this lovely town. We hope to book in again with Paulo when we need to come over for more visits before we finalise the purchase our new home. We would happily recommend this apartment.
