Lovely clean room, and serviced daily. Location right in the heart of historic Otranto, but still super quiet — the garden is lovely but we didn’t sit out there much because of mosquitoes.
Breakfast was ample and varied, Bernice was kind and helpful. It was nice to have a kettle and teabags in the room.
There is no one on the property after 1pm: check in is done with a key code and feels pretty impersonal. We arrived at the room and found our adaptors didn’t fit in the sockets, but there was no one around to help. I had to WhatsApp and be quite firm for someone to come and help. Not the best welcome!
We also were given beach towels and then told we had ‘rented’ them at the end! I was quite firm in saying we hadn’t been informed of any rental service and in the end we weren’t charged, but it feels pretty cheeky and underhand especially given how expensive this place is for what it is.
We also had a weird last morning at breakfast, with the manager sitting with all her paperwork out and talking loudly on the phone but not introducing herself or asking how our stay had been. Not relaxing at all, actually kind of a vibe kill.
Some lovely things about this place but ultimately didn’t really feel that valued as guests.

Benedice was so lovely and sweet to me and my sister. We had a wonderful time getting to know her and enjoying her hospitality. The property was so beautiful and we enjoyed the beautiful courtyard and were so comfortable in our room.
There was also an adorable kitten in the evening who we loved!
Serena also was a huge help in booking our amazing boat tour with Alfredo and gave great recommendations for beach clubs and restaurants to go to.
