Hotel Beau Site - Rocamadour

Everything. It’s a special place in a special place. Location exceptional. Staff reminded me what it’s like to be treated as a valued guest. Food excellent. Restaurant location the best in the town. We actually went up to the top of the cliff for an evening meal and staff were all rude and off putting. So we came back here. Great choice. 10/10 and highest recommendation.

Property is split in two buildings. Room was great located in a corner of the building. Bed really comfortable.

Slightly noise from the cafe/bar/reastaurant below, but only if you leave the windows/balcony open.

One of the most beautiful centrally located hotels in the village. Definitely worth a stay

The location and age

That the bedrooms had modern furniture cheaply made and decor that didn’t reflect the period of the property. The bathroom was very dated and they were unable to provide oat milk in room for myself but then didn’t provide any milk at all for my husband. There is no parking they said but saw parking bays reserved for guests. They say park in car parks and get the lift down but thats a heck of a trek for anyone with a disability or older. The fridge in a cupboard wasn’t cold and the heat of it running heated up the cupboard so made the fridge unusable! The didn’t provide extra pillows as requested. It was mostly clean apart behind the loo where and under the loo seat. It would be nice to have a couple of biscuits in room as we had driven 9 straight hours to get there and were absolutely exhausted on arrival and was desperately for a cuppa and a biscuit!
